Guest Mystery Eskimo Report post Posted April 23, 2002 Having (hopefully) killed the Hardys, who do you think Lesnar should go after next?
Guest Mad Dog Report post Posted April 23, 2002 I think he needs to take out Spike or Bubba and claim his first title. I was yelling at my tv the night he debuted and didn't make the cover on Maven to get the Hardcore title. Just seemed stupid to me. I would rather him get the Euro title as that would result in him going longer without getting pinned. And the Hardcore title silliness will hurt him in the long run. Guest Will Scarlet Report post Posted April 23, 2002 I figure Spike Dudley. He bumps well, can be easily squashed, and he has a title, so that is something for Brock to go after. Plus, I cannot think of anyone else who would fit as the "Guy Brock squashes" besides poor Spike.
Guest Choken One Report post Posted April 23, 2002 Woulden't that be a Step down for Heyman and Lesnar? Hardyz are Combined 15 time champions and one of the most over teams in history...so should'nt he step up to a bigger threat like...RVD? I dunno, if RVD/Eddy are doing another series (works for me), I guess Spike can be spared, but That puts you in another corner, you can either have another squash or screw Brock with the Giant Killer angle. I'll take the squash but wouldn't Edge be a ideal opponet for the future?
Guest Mystery Eskimo Report post Posted April 23, 2002 Personally, I'd like see Brock end Hulkamania...hopefully that will happen down the line. For now, I think the Hardcore title might be worth putting on him, but just have him rarely use any weapons, putting over his brute strength.
Guest Report post Posted April 23, 2002 Hm, judging from the overall weakness of the WWF RAW "roster" (as if you can even call it a roster these days), he probably will be destroying the Hardyz in at least one more match, and then move on to someone like Spike or they're just feed him a bunch of lame-duck squashes like Stasiak, Crash, and Dreamer. They should put Perfect with this guy, in a "mentor" sort of role. Two guys from Minnesota. Heyman is the perfect mouthpiece for both of them, seeing as Hennig always seems to be either too stoned or drunk to NOT slur his words. The sad thing is. WWF RAW has virtually no mid-to-upper card faces. Austin, Bradshaw, RVD. The Hardyz, Spike & Buh Buh aren't exactly at that level. They might actually benefit with turning Brock face in order to give him some competition. But, I honestly hope that doesn't happen.
Guest Imarkout4chrisdaniels Report post Posted April 24, 2002 I honestly see Brock destroying some opponents until a week or two before Judgment Day and have the Hardyz return to challenge him. Brock kills them at the PPV, before moving on to his next "feud." I think that feeding small guys to Brock will hurt him later on. I do think the slow build is a lot better than putting a title on him right away, though. He has the fan support (not cheers mind you.......just fan interest) to carry a title at this point, but it should take someone of some stature to beat him. And will that person, after finally beating this unstoppable monster, really be the new European Champion? The title would be re-established due to the apparent invincibility of Brock, but then I doubt all the big names will line up to hold the Euro Title. An eventual feud with Bradshaw would be ideal. After Bradshaw gets pushed for awhile, he will be pretty high up on the Raw roster. Kane is out for awhile, Big Show just turned heel, and I'm assuming RVD will be involved with the IC Title scene. Bradshaw is a big, rough guy that wrestles stiff and would really make Brock look that much tougher. Until then, Spike, Raven, Buh-Buh, Dreamer, Hardyz, and the other faces need to bring a gurney to the ring with them.
Guest Report post Posted April 24, 2002 I would say WWF should bring in Goldberg, for the battle between the "unstopable monsters"
Guest muswp1 Report post Posted April 24, 2002 First Goldberg's arm injury needs to heal before he can return to the ring. On an entertaining level, I would love to see Brock wipe out X-Pac. That guy needs a good beating and with Kane gone for 3-4 months, Brock fits the bill nicely. Brock and Big Show would be fun, but short.
Guest notJames Report post Posted April 24, 2002 First Goldberg's arm injury needs to heal before he can return to the ring... Then, he needs to get his head out of his ass and apologize to the few fans he has left for turning his back on the sport that afforded him the lazy, do-nothing, bite-the-hand-that-feeds-him lifestyle he's accustomed himself to. Then he needs to realize that he was a flash-in-the-pan that ultimately did nothing for the sport except provide a template on how NOT to conduct yourself as a wrestler. Then he needs to hit the unemployment line once his cushy Time-Warner paychecks stop coming on, 'cuz lord knows that a) Vince doesn't want to add to the backstage turmoil he's provided for himself, b) smaller feds wouldn't be able to afford his over-inflated, self-actualized, Randy Savage-esque price tag, and most importantly, c) the wrestling world has passed by this lump of shit and has no use for his no-talent, no-selling, no-cooperating, no-respecting primadonna attitude. He's done. And I'm glad no one will have to see that asshole on wrestling TV ever again. Except perhaps when they show a 5-second soundbite of his funeral. (I'll be the one dancing on his grave.) As for Lesnar, I see Spike Dudley in his sights, which will set him up for Buh Buh Ray, and possibly a face-turned Booker. Let's just hope he refuses to take the minor belts that would come with the victories, since they would only drag him down (i.e., RVD holding the HC belt). Will he win KOTR? Only if the Fed's desperate... (What do you mean Hogan's the champ?) ???
Guest Report post Posted April 24, 2002 I was being sarcastic when I mentioned Goldberg. The only reason I mentioned Goldberg is because WWF cannot get Goldberg so they are making their own Goldberg clone, BROCKBERG!!!!!!!!!!!

Guest notJames Report post Posted April 24, 2002 Thankfully, the Fed learned from that trainwreck and are going about molding Lesnar differently. Letting the Hardyz get in some offense will quash some if not all of the Goldberg comparisons. The fact that he has major-league amateur credentials also bodes well for him, and having Heyman as a mouthpiece will keep him from attaining an inordinate amount of defacto-face heat. I just wish there was a way to push him without having all these damn Goldberg comparisons. C'est la vie -- at least we're getting some new, fresh talent that can actually get a reaction, unlike some undeserving oldtimers who shall go unNamed and Without mentiOn...
