4 way title match at next ppv

According to the Da Meltz, the rumored main for the Judgment Day is Hogan v. Jericho v. UT v. HHH. Where the hell does that leave Austin?? Let's just pray he doesn't fight the Big Show. Who else on the Raw brand can he face?

 

And what about Angle? A rematch w/ Edge? Or another midcarder?

 

Angle and Austin are being left out in the cold here.

If they do this, it wouldn't surprise me at all. The WWF is notorious for blowing their load way too soon. They'd be better off dragging this feud out until SummerSlam, and THEN having the ladder match. I don't think anyone would be complaining about a program that long between RVD & Eddy.

We had three PPV's of crappy Regal-Edge matches, so there's no reason RVD/Eddy couldn't run for four or five really.

Wouldn't the four way kind of defeat the purpose of the "brand extension"?  Of course they did that with Triple H attacking Undertaker at Raw anyway, so...

 

And what about D'Lo?

Why do people think D'lo coming back? Just cause they mentioned him, does not me he wil return, is Bret Coming back? They mentioned him 3 times last sunday and as for Austin...Who knows? Maybe they will go ahead and make it a 6pac.

1.  D'Lo was drafted to the Raw roster.   Bret wasn't.

2.  D'Lo apparently worked with Eddy in a match taped for Heat.

 

Granted it doesn't mean that match will air, but unlike Bret he is on the roster and being paid.

In response to JHawk, I don't think that would blow the brand extension for the simple reason that all 3 men are trying to win the title, not necessarily wrestle each other. Kinda view it as 3 guys getting a title shot at the same PPV. Then again Meltz can just be totally wrong.

That main event sounds awful. It would basically be Jericho bumping his ass off the entire match for the three "real" main eventers and then do the job for either Hogan or Triple H.

 

I'd rather see them split that up into two matches. Hogan/Taker and Jericho/Triple H. Yeah, I know the result would be the same. But at least then there would be a chance of one really good match. Jericho/Triple H could really deliver if someone left their ego at the door.

 

I can't believe they convinced Austin to come back for a feud with Big Show! It's just going to bring Austin down to feud with Show and his two loser friends. Not to mention that the matches will suck. I remember Rock saying in an interview that he would quit if he ever had to work with Show again.

 

It looks like another Angle/Edge match. I'd guess the finish will involve Chris Benoit and start up another Benoit/Angle feud. Didn't Benoit say in some interview that he would be back on Smackdown in 3-4 weeks?

 

It appears that the undercard might have to save the next PPV as well.

Personally I'd like to see HHH/Undertaker and Jericho/Hogan. They've been building to Jericho/Hogan well, and it would give Jericho a huge rub if he were to take the title off of Hogan. I know it's a big if, but it's possible. It wouldn't have to be clean in the slightest.

I don't think they'll put Eddie in that position where he's prone to get injured like that.
