Guest Report post Posted April 23, 2002 I was actually quite pleased to see some of those "Best of Hogan" clips during RAW last night.. especially when they showed the "Tuesday in Texas" title win. In case you haven't read all of Scott Keith's Rants, Ric Flair was right in the middle of the Hulk Hogan - Undertaker angle running from Survivor Series through Ric Flair winning the belt at the Royal Rumble... Wouldn't it be neat if they had dragged out the footage of Flair giving Taker the steel chair he Tombstoned Hogan on to win his first title at Survivor Series? And then, of course, Hogan got it back the next week by throwing ashes from the Urn in Taker's eyes... and the issue was never really fully blown-off. Could be get a nice little bit of closure to the Hogan-Flair-Taker angle from a decade ago... maybe combined with some nice "paranoid Austin" for good measure? I don't know if the Matches would be Savage/Steamboat quality... but it could be interesting to see it unfold on TV.
Guest JHawk Report post Posted April 23, 2002 It could be interesting if booked right, but I'm not convinced the WWF could book it right at this point. However, I'm hoping that it could be moving toward Excess being turned into a 2-hour classics show called "WWF Flashback", or even the long-rumored 24 hour wrestling channel. I won't hold my breath there though.
