Because the two other multi-hundred response threads weren't good enough!

Anyway, I want Christian but I have a bad feeling that test will win.

Christian is jobbing on Jakked/Metal. There is no way he will be in the tournament unless they start pushing him soon. It is a shame he is getting treated bad though. I like him alot more than Edge.

Unless they stop his push, it's gotta be Lesnar.

If they do de-push him, I'd say Booker T or Bradshaw. (Hopefully Booker)

It's way too soon for Lesner.  It would be a mistake to push him so hard so fast.  Mabey next year's KOTR could have him win, but not this years.

Booker T would benifit the most from a KOTR win.  Booker with a sword = Ratings

Good so I'm not the only one who thought Booker T's cameo in the Scorpion King was hilarious.  The man can be a HUGE face if he's pushed right.  He has loads of charisma and can back it up in the ring.  I'm pushing for The Book to win this year's King of the Ring, and immediately after the win, have him get a HUGE push as a top face.  It can work definitely.  All it needs is some go ahead from the booking staff.....

If Booker T doesn't win it, I'm probably going for a Brock Lesnar win.....

I would like to see Lance Storm win it, begining his big push but in WWFE land Brock is the future King.

I think Benoit's going to be considered a main eventer when he comes back. The person who should win should beat Brock in the finals. I'll go for Booker T, if Benoit isn't in it (or if he doesn't need it).

I think Benoit will be a contender for the king of the ring.  he needs to come back and prove himself and what better way?  my picks are:

chris benoit

rhyno

brock lesnar

tommy dreamer (here's hoping)

I would love for Booker T to win it too, but I'm just saying what I think WWF will do. WWF seems to crap on Booker T alot too, so I don't think there is any chance at all of him winning.

I just watched Dreamer's match from Guilty as Charged 2001 and I'm gonna say Dreamer should get a push soon, he could probably get over pretty good.

I'll have to say Brock, even though his stuff's getting kind of old already... wins by KO, that's... great.

Booker T with the king gimmick would be golden, though...

RVD will win it easily. Brock doesnt deserve to be in the ring yet, from what I saw at Backlash, he hasnt got a clue how to work a match.

I hope they don't kill this brock thing they've got going. Taker managed to remain over killing everybody for 10 years and now they've got the ideal (and not before time) replacement. Although monsters as main eventers always struck me as weird. I don't see any point in RVD winning, He doesn't need it like christian or Booker. Sadly, looks like we can rule both of them out. Brock's much more likely.

Booker T is fucking around with Goldust, I hardly think he is going to win the KOTR.  RVD seems like a good pick but it depends on a few things.  If he has the IC title back in June, then I doubt he wins or even is in the tourney.  They've never had anyone get that kind of insane push, what with the IC title and the KOTR too.

Lesnar is a nice idea but real big dudes kinda suck as KOTR winners (Mabel anyone?).  I think he will decimate everyone going into the finals and then RVD, if he is in the tourney, hands Brock his first loss on TV.  It will have to be a fluke sort of thing along the lines of Bret/Diesel......Brock just kills RVD will all sorts of shit but RVD won't stay down and take the TKO.  Heyman keeps calling for him to beat RVD into submission, no dice...finally RVD gets a cradle or something for a shocking win.

Does that scenario work for anyone?  I figure it will keep Brock's heat because he will have made the finals (and dominated most of the match), he won't have to worry about the streak bullshit, and RVD can get KOTR.  It also can provide Brock's first sign of being pissed at Heyman for mismanaging him by demanding the TKOs over a pin.

I want Lesnar or D-Lo to win, but I have a bad feeling that Mark Henry is going to end up as KotR.

I still dont think that Brockberg will be truely over with his whole "monster" gimmick, people just dont care about guys with power and  no character to them. That is why Big Show, Kane, Mark Henry have never got truely over just based on their power.

Lesnar is far more mobile than a Test or a Mark Henry. That being sad, the WWF does tend to give guys pushes based on "intensity" alone, so this could be another case of that. At the same time, the KOTR is always pushed as the break-out point of "the next big thing" so Lesnar winning isn't that out of the question at all.

RVD could benafit from it, but it would also be a nice way to put over a returning Benoit I can't really see him getting a main-event push immediately upon return. As usual, it will depend on how the scenerio is at the time.

Brockberg is more mobile than Henry, but I dont think he is more than Test, Test has improved lately, he is finally learning how to work a match. Brockberg from what I saw at Backlash and on Raw, is slowwwwwwwwww, and he is too green. He looks lost in the ring, and a better accomplished ring performer should be KOTR, not someone as green as Brockberg.

i wouldn't blame brock's wind for this necessarily.  any guy gets worn out after doing a succession of power moves like that, & he was literally doing almost all the work in both matches.  i'm sure he'll be speedier in an actual give-&-take match, where guys can take turns resting.

You know, I'm pretty sure Brock is the guy that everyone was talking about being able to do a Shooting Star Press despite being a giant. Don't quote me on that, but if it's true I'd say he's just a little bit more agile than Test.

People I wouldn't mind see win KOR

Chris Benoit

RVD

Brock Lesnar

Booker T

Christian

That being said, I would take Benoit's name off if he comes in as a main eventer.

Here's who has a chance in hell of winning it:

RVD (easily)

Benoit (don't think he needs it and I think the WWF sees this too)

Brock Lesnar (hmmm.. don't know.  Could work)

Lance Storm (here's for hoping!)

Booker T. (another possible choice)

Test (NOOO!)

I think that's about it.  :)

I just cant picture RVD as king.

Huh? ???

Oh, I see the problem. Not Trish,  TEST! The OTHER Blonde from canada that has tits. You know, the big unover guy who's last good match was when Eddy carried him at X-Seven. I can kind of see how you got the two confused though.

Brock is the big guy that you heard could do a shooting star press.  He can also do a standing backflip, and said he kept his agility and mobility even though he kept getting bigger.  And about his matches so far.......did you really expect him to come in and do a lot of reversals, mat work, pacing, extended selling, wear-down maneuvers, and string together a succession of moves to accomplish a 5 star match???

The story being told about Brock right now is that he is unstoppable, scary strong, and ill-tempered.  They want him to put on a power display, annhialate his opponents, and not let them have any offense.  I think it would be unfair to call him slow at this point.  If he continued those power moves at a brisker pace, the Hardyz might actually be dead instead of seeming like they are.

Almost forgot about my input on the winner of King of the Ring.......

I am hoping for Lance Storm to win, but I figure it will be someone like Bradshaw, Test, or Mark Henry.

I'll go with RVD as my official pick, but I don't look for it to happen at all.
