Llakor 0 Report post Posted June 11, 2004 For five years, the Internet Wrestling Syndicate has brought fans hardcore wrestling; for five years the IWS has innovated violence; for five years, the IWS has victimized the wrestling industry. On June 12th, the IWS invites wrestling fans everywhere to come to Montreal and help us celebrate our Fifth Anniversary in a show we simply call “V”. Just a day away from perhaps the biggest show in IWS history, the internet is buzzing about what surprises they could expect. The card announced so far includes the following matches: Main Event: Old School IWS Death Match Arsenal.............................................Green Phantom ...&..............................vs..............................& Evil Ninja..............................................Triple X “Sex XXXpress” Sexxxy Eddy If you needed one man to symbolize the IWS, it would be the Arsenal. A gifted scientific wrestler who uses kendo sticks, barbed wire, and thumbtacks to make his moves that much more painful. A twisted sociopath who is most dangerous when he is smiling, because he only smiles when he is about to hurt someone very very badly. It is only fitting that it was the Arsenal who demanded that the main event of “V” be an Old School IWS Death Match, and for such a match his opponents could only be his two oldest enemies: the Green Phantom and Sexxxy Eddy. Interestingly, the Green Phantom, the Number One Contender for Pierre Carl Ouellet’s IWS title, was booked in this match without being asked when Sexxxy Eddy accepted the Arsenal’s challenge for both of them. It would be hard to believe that the Green Phantom would ever give up a chance to kick the Arsenal’s ass, but he can be hardly be happy that he missed his chance to win back the IWS belt. IWS Title Match El Generico.............................................Pierre Carl Ouellet .............................................vs................................. ............. Challenger................................................Champion The man who benefits the most from Green Phantom missing his chance to challenge for the title is El Generico. This makes the El Generico’s third chance to win the title as he was the first challenger to face both Dru Onyx and the Arsenal. Is the third time the charm for the Latin Luchador? Or will El Generico end up on his back “looking at the shape” while the referee counts One, Two, Three? To see how PCO reacted to the news that he was facing El Generico click here: http://www.syndicatewrestling.com/images/multimedia/vpco.wmv Tag Team Rumble The IWS is also pleased to announce as a special treat for our fans, our first-ever Double Elimination Tag Team Rumble. Those sitting at ringside are warned in advance to expect wrestlers flying in all directions. We guarantee some surprise teams will make an appearance in the Rumble, but we can confirm the following participants: Fred le Merveille and Marc le Grizzly Dan Paysan and Tomassino Los Latinos the Flying Hurricanes Two Members of the Fan Favourites T-Unit plus... The Kid Kamikaze Experience featuring Kurt Lauderdale Tag Team Title Match The New Breed.............................................Le Syndicat de Lutte Internet Challenger......................................................Champion .............................................vs................................. ............. DJ Sick..........................................................Damian Hellstorm.......................................................Viking Doctors have cleared DJ Sick to wrestle and he and his partner Hellstorm, the New Breed, will be taking on the current and reigning IWS champions, le Syndicat de Lutte Internet. Both these teams truly believe that they are the best tag teams in Quebec. The New Breed are convinced that they can beat the SLI - Hellstorm has already beaten Damian in singles competition, while DJ Sick holds Viking responsible for the in-ring incident where his arm was broken. For their part, the SLI have already said that they will do anything and everything it takes to win, whether their tactics are in the wrestling rule book or not. I think it will be safe to say that this match will be hard-hitting even by Damian's standards. Best of Quebec Kevin Steen vs. EXcesS69 Kevin Steen’s very first match in the IWS was against EXcesS69 at Un F’N Sanctioned last September. The match did not end well as Kevin Steen, frustrated at being pinned, trapped EXcesS69 in a hangman and then delivered a vicious chair shot to EXcesS69’s unprotected head. If such a thing were possible, these two men dislike each other even more now than they did then. In fact, it has been suggested that the IWS has been reluctant to book this rematch because of the hostility between these two men. One thing are certain about this match: the fans will get to see two of the very best ever to wrestle in this province. ”You’re Ruining Wrestling” Match Beef Wellington vs. A Bear Beef Wellington has been making a mockery of Wrestling since 2001. This time he may have gone too far. To see how Beef succeeded in convincing someone to book this travesty, click here: http://www.syndicatewrestling.com/images/m...juneepisode.wmv As we have mentioned before, we will be opening the doors earlier to bring in people to shoot intros with Aaron Weiss to air on Pro Wrestling Superstars: Past, Present and Future.
