Guest Salacious Crumb Report post Posted June 15, 2004 Hogan still had novelty on his side when he won the title. Flair is just another worker now and there's no believable way to make him World Title calibur. The guys a JTTS now.
The Mandarin 0 Report post Posted June 15, 2004 What? Shawn Michaels is younger than Triple H? Anyways, current Flair with a title reign-- WCW did it, it didn't really work. If you want to see the old Flair so desperately, the best thing is to get out the tapes. Personally, if Ric Flair wants to keep wrestling, more power to him. I'll keep watching. Guest Choken One Report post Posted June 15, 2004 No..Shawn is older the Trips. Shawn is 38. Trips is 32. Benoit is 34.
Guest Evil Blood Report post Posted June 15, 2004 I agree if Flair wants to still wrestle more power to him but if I want to remember the days when Flair was the man then I better watch a video. One more title added to Flairs list could also be good and will bring back lots of old memorys,
Guest Salacious Crumb Report post Posted June 15, 2004 And drive viewers away by the thousands.
Guest Evil Blood Report post Posted June 15, 2004 You dont know that fans will turn off the tv if Ric Flair is champion maybe you will Mad Dog but you dont speak for the millions and millions all over the world. Give it a shot and see what happens but what if ratings go up if Ric Flair was a champion and dont say NO THAT WILL NEVER HAPPEN just what if you were wrong Mad Dog?
Guest Salacious Crumb Report post Posted June 15, 2004 Trends tend to point otherwise. Hogan's run totally killed ratings and he had only been back for 2 months. Flair's been full time for over a year now and has been a jobber in most singles matches.
Lord of The Curry 0 Report post Posted June 15, 2004 You dont know that fans will turn off the tv if Ric Flair is champion maybe you will Mad Dog but you dont speak for the millions and millions all over the world. Give it a shot and see what happens but what if ratings go up if Ric Flair was a champion and dont say NO THAT WILL NEVER HAPPEN just what if you were wrong Mad Dog? Ya know, when you become a wrestling champion you'll actually have to wrestle eventually. Flair can't wrestle.
Guest Evil Blood Report post Posted June 15, 2004 Mad Dog you didnt answer my question forget about Flair jobbing and Hogan didnt draw because Hulk Hogan is Hulk Hogan and Ric Flair is someone else so that dont mean they will draw the same. What if you were wrong and Ric Flair did draw?
Guest Man Of 1,004 Modes Report post Posted June 15, 2004 No..Shawn is older the Trips. Shawn is 38. Trips is 32. Benoit is 34. Benoit was 36-37 last I checked my calendar...
Guest Salacious Crumb Report post Posted June 15, 2004 He won't draw. No one draws right now and most people don't want to see an elderly man hold the highest title in the promotion. If Hogan holding the title drove fans away then Flair certainly will.
Guest Evil Blood Report post Posted June 15, 2004 Mad Dog you speak for yourself and not most fans. Like I said before Hogan and Flair are not the same. Hulk Hogan didnt draw great but the WWE is not doing to great now and the new guys as champions are not drawing so why not give it to someone old to see how the ratings respond. Trying wont hurt anyone. And again Mad Dog dont say it wont happen but what if you were wrong and Flair did draw for the 3rd time please answer the question
Guest Salacious Crumb Report post Posted June 15, 2004 Hulk Hogan has always been a bigger name than Flair. If the star of the 80s and the name everyone knows chases viewers away with a title run then how is Flair going to fair when he's only known to wrestling fans? Guest Man Of 1,004 Modes Report post Posted June 15, 2004 Isn't there a rule that says you need to post with somewhat decent english? 3/4 of the time, I have no clue what this dude is saying, and when he does make sense, it's stupid nonsense anyway.
Guest Evil Blood Report post Posted June 15, 2004 Again Mad Dog stop trying to say Ric Flair will never be world champion because you may be right but WHAT IF FLAIR DID GET HIS FINAL RUN AND DID DRAW THEN WHAT WOULD YOU SAY? (PLEASE ANSWER THW QUESTION THIS TIME) Hogan was the star of the 80s & 90s well this aint the 90s its now.
Guest Salacious Crumb Report post Posted June 15, 2004 He won't draw. Old men don't draw in wrestling.
Guest Evil Blood Report post Posted June 15, 2004 You dont know that Mad Dog you just want to belive old men cant draw. I asked you the same question 4 times and you did not answer it at all just keep going on about how Flair will never draw again as world champion.
Guest Salacious Crumb Report post Posted June 15, 2004 Ask Vern Gagne and Ted Turner about the drawing power of old men.
Lord of The Curry 0 Report post Posted June 15, 2004 No fucking way this guy knows who Vern Gagne is.
Guest Evil Blood Report post Posted June 15, 2004 Listen Mad Dog Ted Turner is not Ric Flair. You seem to think one old guy cant draw so they all cant thats like saying one big man made it big so they all can or one person was world champion so everyone can be world champion. Ric Flair should get another run and we will see if he draws or not but Ric Flair is putting over wrestlers most weeks and if he was to become world champion he needs to start winning. Lord of The Curry 0 Report post Posted June 15, 2004 What has Ric Flair done so far both in-ring and outside the ring to prove that he would draw? By the way, in case you were going to answer "just wait and see" that will not be an acceptable response.
Guest Salacious Crumb Report post Posted June 15, 2004 No fucking way this guy knows who Vern Gagne is. Good call. He doesn't even know who Turner is.

RavishingRickRudo 0 Report post Posted June 15, 2004 Evil Blood - _you_ have to convince us that Flair could still draw because your hypothetical situation is not reasonable (hell, you're basically asking "what would you say if you were wrong?" ... A question is not a point, EB). Your premise is silly because there is no reason to assume that Flair would be successful with the title around his waist. He doesn't have _any_ credible looking offense, he is repetitive to the point of exposing the business, he looks horrible, his bumps are painful to look at (and that's not a good thing) and the only in-ring reactions he gets are when he does comedy or wooos. The only thing he has going for him are stupid fans and his promos. Hogan got MUCH larger reactions in 2002 than Flair does now. The crowd was going NUTS for him in every arena and his run still failed. Flair doesn't get a 10th of that reaction, so what makes you think he would be successful? Guest Astro Report post Posted June 16, 2004 Da Crusher was born in 1925 and was still wrestling in the WWF in 1987 making him....62 Dick the Bruiser wrestled til the day he died in 1992 and he was 60+, The Shiek, Bobo Brazil, Dory jr, Abdullah the Butcher, Lou Thesz all wrestled past 60 Pat O Conner and Buddy Rogers both must've been pretty old as well as they were both still going in 1979+
Guest Astro Report post Posted June 16, 2004 Ask Vern Gagne and Ted Turner about the drawing power of old men. Verne was still quite a draw up til 1981 when he hung it up, his comebacks in 83, 84, 86 all drew good houses as well
