STEVE CORINO AND CHRISTOPHER DANIELS ADDED TO THE JUNE 15TH MLW DEBUT SHOW AT THE ECW ARENA

WASHINGTON DC, APRIL 24, 2002 - Major League Wrestling, Inc. (MLW) is proud to announce the additions of Steve Corino and Christopher Daniels MLW's debut event in South Philadelphia's Viking Hall/ECW Arena on June 15th. These young respected grapplers join "The Franchise" Shane Douglas, Jerry Lynn, and Taiyo Kea   as they battle for the gold and hope to become the first MLW Heavyweight Champion. Steve Corino and Christopher Daniels will surely make there mark on Major League Wrestling's premier event.

From crashing Limp Bizkit concerts to shooting on buff prima donnas, "The King of Old School" has become one of the most controversial and most successful wrestlers in the past five years.

Starting off on the independents in the mid 1990s, Corino quickly caught the eye of promoters for his astounding capability for telling it like it is and backing it up in the ring. Sooner than later, Corino found himself in Extreme Championship Wrestling as a vocal proponent of traditional wrestling. Proving his worth, Corino transformed from a mouthpiece for his cronies to a major force having memorable feuds with the likes of the legendary Dusty Rhodes.

Outspoken, Corino continued his anti-hardcore ways using his old school brawling and cunning schemes to reach the top of the latter in ECW and later Zero-One Fighting, leading to countless main events, and ultimately winning both the ECW and NWA World Championships.

Today, Corino has his eyes set on on championship gold and continuing his "King of Old School" campaign and nothing can get in his way as he is determined to be number one in wrestling no matter what it takes.

Revered by the internet community for his remarkable skills and a top draft pick amongst insiders for any office looking to have an amazing aerial and ground technician, Christopher Daniels brings a lot to the table including an extensive run on the independents where he continues to pick up countless regional championships.

But it is perhaps this Super J-Cup 2000 vet's stunning international career that has created the most press for this breakout star. Dawning a mask in Japan, Daniels is known as the comical Curry Man - making for a bizarre combination of colorful comedy and flashy ring work for the Michinoku Pro Wrestling office.

With experience and technique there seems to be only one goal on Christopher Daniels's mind and that is to achieve greatness in the United States on a larger scale basis. The Fallen Angel will not be held back in MLW nor will he settle for anything but championship gold. The question remains, are the superstars of MLW ready to receive the Last Rites courtesy of Sin City's most famous resident?

Yeah, every so often wrestlers from Japan come to the states to work a few shows I guess. I also heard that Kojima and Muto are coming to Atlantic City. Shinya Hashimoto came to PA in December, and the DVDVR guys went and saw him. Sounded like great stuff.
