I don't agree with a lot of what he said, but he was on point with the Piper thing and with Sabaa Simba. I always liked Piper and on the surface he doesn't appear to be a racist. However, speaking as an African American, the first time I saw WM 6, even at age 8, I was offended by the half black half white thing. Shit, they might as well have gone all the way with that one, dressed him up in a clown outfit, painted his lips and called him Sambo. That wasn't cool at all. Same with Sabaa Simba. I wasn't really watching WWF all that much in 90 and other than the 91 Rumble I never saw the gimmick in action, but to cast Atlas in such a stereotypical role and then say that he's "going back to his roots" is an insult to all people of African decent. I could go in to detail on this issue but I'm trying not to turn this into a race thing, but both those angles are offensive IMO. As far as Doink the Clown being a rip off of the Joker...whatever.
