Guest Report post Posted April 25, 2002 from my experience the best match from 91 must have been Savage vs Warrior Career ending match.
Guest Tony149 Report post Posted April 25, 2002 I will say The Steiner Brothers vs. Sting & Lex Luger from Superbrawl 1. With The Steiners vs. the two Japanese wrestlers (Can't spell their names) at the WCW/NJPW show coming in second. Savage vs. Warrior is my 3rd pick.

Guest Tim Cooke Report post Posted April 25, 2002 4/20/91 Tsuruta/Taue/Fuchi v Misawa/Kawada/Kobashi is the 6 man tag match of the Year. 5/24/91 Tsuruta v Kobashi and 10/24/91 Tsuruta v Kawada are both MOTYC for 1991. Steiners v Sting/Luger from 5/91, Wargames 1991, and Anderson/Zybisko v Steamboat/Rhodes are also US MOTYC. Tim

Guest JMTapes Report post Posted April 27, 2002 Could we stop these threads, please? Or maybe just have one and have everyone say their favorite from every year? There's way too many of these. -Jim
Guest Drury37 Report post Posted April 27, 2002 I actually think these threads are pretty good,it's a good way to talk about your favorite matches and moments in the different years. Thanks.
Guest Tony149 Report post Posted April 27, 2002 I also think they're too many of these types of threads. So as a Mod, I'm going to create a "Only & Only favorites old school matches" thread. I'll pin it to the top of this folder for sometime. If another one of these threads is created...they will be deleted ASAP.

Guest Report post Posted April 30, 2002 91 was the year I really got into Wrestling for the first time... as a kid, I LOVED the Warrior / Savage match and still think it's great, but in retrospect there was definately some other big stuff happening that year, all of which was already mentioned. 1. The Rise of the Undertaker - like him or not, while he was never the big name crossover star that Hogan before him, or Austin after him, or even to a lesser extent Hart/Michaels, Undertaker has been the most consistent presence in the main event for the WWF ever, and his attacks on Warrior and Hogan in '91 really legitimized him as the "Phenom" of the WWF. 2. Ric Flair's entrance into the WWF. This was huge at the time, but I was too dumb to realize it at the time. Ric Flair showing up on WWF TV carrying the NWA belt. Enough said. A REAL "InVasion" Oh, and how can we forget the DEBUT of THE BERZERKER! Huss! Huss! (He got the same push as Brock Lesnar... except instead of winning by KO he won by Count Out, leading all of us 6th graders to assumer he was a shoe-in to win the Royal Rumble)

Guest Report post Posted May 6, 2002 Not sure it deserves the no 1 spot but no one has mentioned the Rockers vs. Orient Express from Royal Rumble´91. It's easy a top 3 along with Perfect/Hart and Warrior/Savage for WWF 1991.
