Guest Razor Roman Report post Posted June 30, 2004 Hi all, I was forced about a year ago to make a bunch of video's for my website at work, and put them in RealPlayer format. Now we've dropped full support for Real Player, so now my boss is on my BUTT to convert everything to Windows Media. I can't use Windows Media Encoder to convert from Real to WMV, so I guess I need an in-between. Anyone have any software (preferrably free or cheap) to convert Real to AVI, MPEG, etc. I don't care about losing a little quality, I do care however about some packages I've found using Google that limit you to 2 minutes, or put a big watermark over my image. Like I said, free would be best. Under $100 ok. Anything more expensive than that, let me know, I could ask :-) Ok. Thanks for the input.
Guest I'm That Damn Zzzzz Report post Posted June 30, 2004 I found WinAVI Video Converter atVideohelp, might be useful. The commercial version is $200 or a trip to your favorite file sharing program. Also, some guides: http://www.videohelp.com/guides.php?format...t=RM%20to%20AVI .
Guest slacklet Report post Posted June 30, 2004 RM Converter 2.21 It's $28.45 if you want to buy it at their website. The above download if a 15-day trial. There's a watermark but you get a good idea of what the program can do.
