BUTT 0 Report post Posted July 8, 2004 I'e been using a program called FruityLoops lately to make muisic using my computer, but I want to know if anyone knows of any similar freeware programs (or even trial versions) for the PC which allow you to make music. I'm not looking for MIDI programs, but rather those which use more authentic instrument sounds. Does anybody know of any? Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Guest macheteofodin Report post Posted July 9, 2004 You'd be surprised at how real midi can sound. It just depends on the samples used. I honestly can't think of a more authentic way on a computer other than using pre recorded loops in something like Acid. I use a program called Sonar. They have a demo available at http://www.cakewalk.com/download/default.asp It's a beast to get used to, but once you do it's an amazing program to work with.
