Rob E Dangerously 0 Report post Posted July 10, 2004 via the Star Ever dreamed of becoming a professional wrestler? Here's your chance. Kansas City legend and eight-time world champion Harley Race will be conducting a camp Aug. 9-13 at his training facility in Eldon, Mo. In attendance will be Tom Pritchard, a talent scout for World Wrestling Entertainment. “The toughest obstacle in the wrestling business is receiving a break and getting noticed,” said Race, who is nearing the completion of his autobiography. “This camp gives them that chance.” Although there are no guarantees that anyone will land a WWE contract, the camp does offer the chance to earn a spot in professional ranks. Mitsuharu Misawa, considered by many to be one of the top grapplers of all time, will be on hand to award as many as two grand prize winners an all-expenses paid trip to train in Japan's exclusive Pro-Wrestling NOAH dojo. And at least one other camp attendee will receive a partial scholarship to the Harley Race Academy. The fee for the camp, which is open to both current professionals and beginners, is $1,000. Scroby 0 Report post Posted July 12, 2004 It sounds like a good idea, through it is expensive for the few days that the camp goes, plus who is honestly going to fly across the country just to lose some money. It does sound pretty spiffy through.
