Guest Special K Report post Posted April 27, 2002 http://www.geocities.com/Colosseum/Arena/9893/column17.htm Though Mutoh may be my avatar, but my name on the boards is dedicated to that 'special K' I consider my favorite wrestler to be Kawada. I've seen probably less than 20 matches in the ring (I'm a relative puro newbie, at least w/ this forum) but he is my favorite wrestler, in ring, of all time. This is a very touching article written by Tom Zenk, that I just read. It just shows that someone as usually cycnical as Zenk has such as respect for japaneses wrestlers, and what they do, and in particular Kawada. It's a really great, though somewhat sad read. Check it out.
Guest HopeSpot Report post Posted April 27, 2002 That was indeed a fantastic read, I marked for the Stampede refernces where Kawada wrestled as Kio Kawata. I can remember watching him Saturday afternoons and at the Edmonton Rec Center. But I was like 5 and I was a Dynamite fan, I didn't even realize I had seen Kawada live until I saw an article on View from the Rising Sun. God I miss the real Stampede.
