Back in 1988 ted DiBiase was the top heel in the WWF. He was the man who was the reason why Hulk Hogan's first title reign ended, due to him "paying off the ref", but, i cant for the life of me remember a one on one match between Hogan and DiBiase. I live in NYC and you would think that there would have been at least one match between the two of them here at MSG, but it never happened. It seemed that DiBiase's main feud was with Savage over the WWF title. Does anyone remember seeing Hogan and DiBiase square off one on one...and I dont mean their matches in 1979  :)

Hogan/ DiBiasie i thought wrestled on SNME but i might be wrong. i have seen them from MSG shows so they did fight and the matches werent bad for a Hogan match.

Am i going crazy becaue I went to almost every MSG house show from 1988 to 1992 and I dont ever remember them wrestling. The only time I recall them being in the same ring was a match between Hogan and Bigelow vs. Virgil and DiBiase and at SummerSlam 88. Also, I dont think they ever wrestled on SNME.

Not a singles match, but they were on opposing teams during Survivor Series 1989 and were the last "survivors" of their respective teams. One guess who won. The match is actually worth watching only to hear Jesse Ventura as he goes off on a rant about how Hogan must've paid off the referee (which would've been hilariously ironic) because the ref disqualified all DiBiase's team members.

If you want to see a World title match between Hogan and DiBiase, track down a tape called 'Hulk Hogan, Real American.' There's a World title match on there between them from late '87, with Andre and Virgil at ringside. It's pretty boring though, and the commentators are dreadful.

I wrote about stuff like this on the old board. It's amazing how many fueds never had real blowout matches back then, and its all because there were only 4 PPVs. If the Hogan/Andre/Dibiase/Savage thing happened today, they'd be milking combinations for like a year. Oh what could have been

I actually ment Hogan and Bigelow vs. DiBiase and Virgil. That match happened at the Garden about a week after Hogan lost Andre.

Yeah, that was pretty funny.  Hebner was even worse at the 88 Series.

They wrestled in The Lumberjack Match in HulkaMania 4.

In Hulkamania Forever (5), a SNME match was shown (Pre Survivor Series 1989)

Plus, I know they had a match at The Sam Houston Coliseum in 1987/1988.
