Eddie vs. Kurt

Recommended Posts

I actually don't think Billy Gunn's as bad as everyone likes to pretend he is. He was great in DX, and he was about Jericho-level entertaining as Mr. Ass. (He was actually my favorite wrestler for about six months.) Then he got hurt, when through a couple crappy gimmicks on the way back, and then was also very good with Chuck as the gay tag team. The two of them were even starting to work as faces until they were instantly dropped, and the only real push Billy's had since then was when he got put with Torrie. For all the talk about his failed pushes, I think Billy's done fine when he had a decent angle to work with.

Except that the guy has completely choked everytime he's been in a big match. BENOIT couldn't drag a decent match out of him. He blew it then, he blew it against Shamrock, against Rocky and after KOTR. He's not a singles wrestler.

He's a bit of a choker in big matches.
