Guest nothing9999 Report post Posted April 27, 2002 Does anyone know where I can get a free demo of The Sims so I can play it before I throw down 40+ dollars for the game? Thanks for any help. nothing9999
Guest areacode212 Report post Posted April 27, 2002 Did they even make a demo of this game? I don't recall one. It sold like mad from the day it was released, and they probably expected it to, so they didn't bother making one. thesims.ea.com would be the place to get it, if it exists. Guest Tomato Can Report post Posted April 27, 2002 I can't believe people have plunked down $100+ and are still playing that game. I mean, I played the crap out of it for like a week, but at some point I started to feel that I was doing the same shit over and over again and that it was more tedious than fun. Making new families only freshened things up for a little while. Frankly, I think it's overrated. A friend of mine had the exact same feelings about Black & White, too. They're both games with really cool ideas that just end up being more work than play.
Guest Bruin Report post Posted April 27, 2002 Well Black & White was a bit tedious with the micromangement of the villages. But the creature training was the best part. Creatue Isle seemed to fix this, and you focus a LOT more on your creature and far less on your villages. You have to remember though, Black & White is only as fun as you make it.
