Guest Report post Posted April 28, 2002 What I'm talking about is him doing a regular kick-ass Vader Powerbomb, but the man took a bump wrong. I mean, I'm not sure if it was an accident or what.
Guest El Satanico Report post Posted April 28, 2002 LOOOK a mention of Bruiser Brody...what a stupendous moment this is! hooold on one god damn minute...i will not be mocked by the likes of you! i'm not mocking you. Guest RickyChosyu Report post Posted April 28, 2002 Yes, the same man who can bench press 700lbs. and the same man whom I enjoy watching slather luchadors. Well, pardon me for underestimating Nortan's ability to toss around juniors 1/4 his body mass. Simply astounding. You know, I'm sure Mark Henry can bench press a helluva lot too. Just saying... Guest ArkhamGlobe Report post Posted April 28, 2002 Vader. I haven't seen that much of Bruiser Brody, Terry Gordy and Stan Hansen, but what I saw was excellent.

I'm sure that he can, but I have never seen Mark Henry apply slatherings to random masked 200 pound wrestlers. Thus, Norton entertained me & Mark Henry didn't. That's what it's all about after all. I was entertained.

Thus, Norton entertained me & Mark Henry didn't. That's what it's all about after all. I was entertained. That's nice, but do you think it classifies him as one of the best big men of all time? A lot of things about wrestling are entertaining, but when you add the "greatest _ of all time" context, I think it's best to try and look a little deeper than that. For example, Nortan, a physically-strong man was able to throw around men significantly less than him in a rather scary manner, but what else could he do besides that? Nortan, as a wrestler, was horrible, and no worth anytime unless he was, as you say, slathering some random luchador.
Guest Report post Posted April 28, 2002 Best big guys: Vader Disasters, no matter how bad their gimmicks sucked Bundy One Man Gang The Giant, Andre not the Big Fat Slow!
Guest Report post Posted April 28, 2002 Vader. He has been in so many good matches with Flair and Sting. He even had a good match with Taker at Canadian Stampede.
Guest Report post Posted April 28, 2002 Can't believe more people didn't say Bam Bam Bigalow! Bam Bam was just as good, if not better then Vader. #### you Vince and WM11!!!!!!!! Bam Bam will never live that down.
Guest Report post Posted April 28, 2002 I liked Bam Bam in ECW more than in the big 2.
Guest Brian Report post Posted April 28, 2002 People, Terry Gordy was the most talented big man ever. No doubt about it. But everyone digs the Stan Hansen laireeaaaattttooooooooo!
Guest RickyChosyu Report post Posted April 28, 2002 The Bammer was great, but not as good as Vader, in my opinion. Vader was the mold for every monster heel after him, and managed to implement that character everywhere he went and dominate with it. Whether it was NWA, WCW, WWF, UWFi, New Japan, All Japan, or (currently) Noah, Vader is the definative monster heel. Bigelow has worked a number of places too, but he just hasn't shown the consistancy that Vader has kept over the years. It's pretty sad to see him work these days, actually. Guest Anglesault Report post Posted April 28, 2002 That Canadian Stampede match came at a time when Taker didn't suck and a Vader/Taker match was almost guaranteed to be good.
Guest razazteca Report post Posted April 28, 2002 With all of this talk about Lesner and the SSP being a mark out move, I give to you the jaw dropping "Holy Sh!t" move by the Headhunters: The Moonsault ever see these Abdullah the Butcher clones in a death match? Guest saturnmark4life Report post Posted April 28, 2002 The headhunters are 10 times better than you'd expect buit no one comes near vader. and i think the big show is actually OK considering he is a 500 pound man in a wrestling ring. IF he lost weight (doubtful with his guaranteed HUGE paycheck) He'd be good. And he sells and jobs when asked. Just saying. Keep him in tag matches on the apron as a face and he'll be over forever. (ie not in a sngles match with austin.)
Guest El Satanico Report post Posted April 28, 2002 I saw the Headhunters do a Moonsault from a cage onto a table on one of the Lucha Libre shows on the Spanish channel. Watching them fatasses fly is a rather impressive sight. Big Show would have to lose alot of weight to be worth a damn in a ring. But maybe that's just my hatred of slow moving dinasaurs talking. Guest Singular Report post Posted April 29, 2002 Vader without a doubt. And Vader's powerbomb blew Scott Norton's away. Stan Hansen. I think the only reason he was a pro wrestler was so he'd have an excuse to pummel people.
