Monster is not ok, it's pretty much REM's worst. New Adventures in hi fi is a great album, and will probably be their last great one.

New Adventures sucked and sounded like what it was: a bunch of outtakes that weren't good enough to be released on a real album.

I agree with the guys that mentioned the Rolling Stones. They're just hanging on by their reputation IMO.

But I have to agree that Automatic For The People and Monster were REM's last good albums, because I did like Monster a lot (I remember buying it the first day it came out.)

Also [/i]Yield was Pearl Jam's last great album, I agree.

Well, not counting the live albums, they've only had 1 album since Yield...

the original statement was I felt Pearl Jam had gone down hill since Vs. Then they released Yield and ruined that theory.

 

I know everyone here is real sad megadeth isn't around anymore but I have not been interested in their music since so far, so good, so what. Everything else after that did not interest me at all.
