Guest saturnmark4life Posted April 29, 2002 Report Posted April 29, 2002 Monster is not ok, it's pretty much REM's worst. New Adventures in hi fi is a great album, and will probably be their last great one.
Guest goodhelmet Posted April 29, 2002 Report Posted April 29, 2002 New Adventures sucked and sounded like what it was: a bunch of outtakes that weren't good enough to be released on a real album.
Guest pochorenella Posted April 30, 2002 Report Posted April 30, 2002 I agree with the guys that mentioned the Rolling Stones. They're just hanging on by their reputation IMO. But I have to agree that Automatic For The People and Monster were REM's last good albums, because I did like Monster a lot (I remember buying it the first day it came out.) Also [/i]Yield was Pearl Jam's last great album, I agree.
Guest Spaceman Spiff Posted April 30, 2002 Report Posted April 30, 2002 Also Yield was Pearl Jam's last great album, I agree. Well, not counting the live albums, they've only had 1 album since Yield...
Guest goodhelmet Posted May 1, 2002 Report Posted May 1, 2002 the original statement was I felt Pearl Jam had gone down hill since Vs. Then they released Yield and ruined that theory. I know everyone here is real sad megadeth isn't around anymore but I have not been interested in their music since so far, so good, so what. Everything else after that did not interest me at all.
