Guest Redhawk Posted April 28, 2002 Report Posted April 28, 2002 I didn't start seriously watching wrestling until 1998, so most of my memories of Sting are from when he was the "dark" Sting, or when he was in the nWo Wolfpac. And I didn't watch that much WCW anyway, so I wanted to know from you all what was Sting's best match or moment from 1997 on.

Guest Sykotic2002 Posted April 28, 2002 Report Posted April 28, 2002 He had a couple good matches against DDP on Nitro. One in April '98 when he was World Champ and DDP was U.S. Champion. The other was on 4/26/99 when Sting beat Page for the World Title and had it for an hour.

The whole buildup to Hogan/Sting, even though the match itself was horrible. I've still never been so excited over a match since then. His match against Ric Flair on the final Nitro. Most of his matches after the New Blood angle started. Someone lit a fire under his ass and 90% of the matches he was in were gold. Especially ones against Lance Storm and Jeff Jarrett.

When he was Stinger, he would be shouting, hollarin, yellin, being all crazy. The he was the Crow. And didn't talk. When he did give Crow promos, they sucked. WCW had to freashen up Stings gimmick, I understand that. But the Crow just sucked.

Guest converge241 Posted May 6, 2002 Report Posted May 6, 2002 There were no good matches, but plent of mark out moments when he laid a beatdown from the ceiling... Uncensored (w/ the three way team match): finally takes a stand and destroys NWO.. various Nitros where the entrance saved the show
