Guest Below the Glass Ceiling Posted February 11, 2002 Report Posted February 11, 2002 So what do you think?
Guest MarvinisaLunatic Posted February 11, 2002 Report Posted February 11, 2002 American Football, and have it played at the Winter Olympics. For the Summer Olympics, you couldnt go wrong with bowling. Im surprised its not an Olympic sport yet..
Guest Brooding Genius Posted February 11, 2002 Report Posted February 11, 2002 Rugby, only because it's a game that the world actually plays, and it wouldn't be a cheap ploy for the U.S. (or Canada, in lacrosse's case) to get another gold medal. I swear, that's the only reason snowboarding was added to the Winter Olympics: so that the U.S. would get more medals.
Guest Kahran Ramsus Posted February 11, 2002 Report Posted February 11, 2002 Rugby. I would also like to see Formula 1 racing at the olympics. Something that is done by a large number of nations. Things that should be cut include Rythmic Gymnastics (sucks) and Basketball (No one cares outside US).
Guest The Vanilla Midget Posted February 11, 2002 Report Posted February 11, 2002 rugby and/or cricket. because these are the only two sports where there would be any sort of real competition. cricket is played throughout the entire british colonial empire, and you would have australia, new zealand, south africa, india, pakistan, sri lanka, and england all with a chance for the gold medal. rugby is also good, but possibly played in sevens form, as this would create a larger base of teams which could win, and create a more exciting game.
