My only recollection of Luger was a little bit from the Narcissist period, some of the Made in the USA stuff, and then the latest WCW run. But what is Luger's best match ever? And what was his best match from when he rejoined WCW (when he showed up on the first Nitro)?

Pre-1995 Luger had some good matches. Here are some I remember...

I can't remember Luger having a good match post-1995.

i totally agree with tony. in fact, i was thinking those exact matches except luger vs flair from clash12. it was good and all but Hansen's interference lowered the match in my opinion.

I liked his match against Ric Flair at WCW/NWA WrestleWar 1990 and did anyone else like his match against Mr.Perfect at WWF WrestleMania IX?

I like Luger when he was in tag teams with Sting or Barry Windham.

Luger had a good match against Savage after he rejoined WCW. I think it was at World War 3? They had a series of matches on ppv and Nitros where Lex would always win. He actually looked like he cared and was trying.

A certain PPV in 1990 featuring Luger/Flair, with an injured Sting at ringside...can't remember the name of it, pretty sure it was Wrestlewar... That one had me on the edge of my seat.

 

This was back in the day when the "Human Torture Rack" was the ultimate finisher, and the only heel being Flair that could last through it (although by cheating)

"Best" I don't know about, but "favorite" would easily be the infamous cage match where Bruiser Brody shot him full of holes until Lex literally ran away.

Yeah it was at WCW WrestleWar 1990 and I Luger got counted out and that was kind of annoying but still an awesome match.
