With the exception of the MNF game, Green Bay @ Carolina. So we get a rematch of the AFC Championship Game to start the week off and what should have been the NFC Championship Game to end it.

Why "should" it have been the championship game? Green Bay lost fair and square.

I think that Kahran probably meant it "should" have been the championship game because Green Bay had it wrapped up until that fateful 4th-and-26. And then, of course, the stupid Favre interception.

I don't think he was implying there was anything underhanded going on that cheated the Pack out of the game. But I could be wrong.

Because Green Bay was the better team, regardless of who won on a shoddy 4th and 26.

And I'm personally of the opinion that the pass was actually a 25-yarder, not 26 and should never have been converted, but who am I to judge. It was in the last 2 minutes if I remember correctly, and so it didn't get a review of where the ball landed.

This is basically true. Fuck the overrated Eagles.

Well we made it to the championship game with just a QB 3 years in a row. Now we have more. I'll be gunning for you Pack!

See my mom is a HUGE Packers and 49ers fan......so I go through this a lot.

Of course the Packers made it to the playoffs on a freak hail mary in another game........

Then to the second round on a stupid Hasselbeck interception (and a failed cut by Bannister)..........

I hate the "Well we lost but we were the better team" argument personally, cause if you really were you would have, you know, WON?

Little question: When the Eagles come up short again --- and, yes, they will almost definitely come up short --- who will be blamed this time, instead of the overrated Donovan?

Heck, he didn't get the blame last year, and his throwing several INT's is what killed them.

Actually what killed them in the NFC championship was a receiver getting thrown around by a midget CB and that same receiver deciding to break off a slant route (which you never ever ever do).

See what I mean? Not Donovan's fault.

McNabb just isn't a QB to take you to the Super Bowl.

I'd love to see the Panthers do it --- but seeing as how they made the mistake of giving Delhomme a huge new deal, there is a problem.

I blame Andy Reid for never adjusting later on in the game, just like how I also blame Mike Martz for the Kurt Warner controversy

Oh, ok I see. Even if it isn't Donovan's fault, since he is overrated (which I will not argue against) every loss is his fault and any reason it isn't is seen as an excuse.

I dunno.......I'll probably storm through my house throwing furniture out the window screaming

"You're all losers! Fire them all! Let's get some new players!"

And I honestly don't see how you can blame him in the NFC championship game b/c he got injured very early and that was the difference. He couldn't really play after that, though he kept trying.

Had the Viqueens made the playoffs rather than the Packers, they would have made a quick first round exit. Minnesota showed flashes of a playoff team last year, but tended to choke even more than they do usually, and that last game was pretty much a microcosm of their entire season.

And the Seattle game, they just hung around due to Sherman's inability to really get aggressive which is what actually killed them in the Eagles game.

There's no way anyone in the NFC could have beaten the Patriots regardless though, so we can all just shutup now.
