AndrewTS 0 Report post Posted August 7, 2004 "Former WWE Star"...and nobody seems to remember him being there or the name he used there. (Man Mountain Rock as part of the "New Generation" of 1995, if I recall correctly. ) I think the case was dismissed, because surely any sensible judge and jury would see there's absolutely no similarity in the characters, plus there's one less X in "Max"'s name. Surely Rockstar would rip off the name of a wrestler some one had actually heard of. Plus the name is so punny and cheesy it can hardly be deemed all that original. It sounds like an indie wrestler name, because it's little more than that.
Guest AdamF Report post Posted August 7, 2004 I remember seeing the trailer he had on his site years ago. Even saved it to one of my old computers. Anyone know if this trailer was the same as the one years ago? I'd like to see this ... too bad the site is down.
Ravenbomb 0 Report post Posted August 7, 2004 yeah, isn't calling him a former WWE Star kinda stretching it?
Placebo Effect 0 Report post Posted August 8, 2004 I'm fairly certain the man never had a PPV match. Not even a Royal Rumble appearance. I do, however, remember the WWF Magazine column by Bob Backlund condemning Man Mountain Rock and his music.

Guest Eugene` Report post Posted August 12, 2004 This is really bugging me. WHO THE FUCK sings the song in the trailer? The opening minute of it has been repeating in my head the past 2 days and it's driving me insane.
Guest AdamF Report post Posted August 12, 2004 I think his name was "Big Al" or something, and he looks like the inbred brother of Michael "PS" Hayes. Apparently, he was once in the band NRBQ, who did an album with Lou Albano in the 1980's. I believe he is also the voice behind such hits as "Ass Man", and other Billy Gunn and Big Show themes.
