Damaramu 0 Report post Posted August 7, 2004 Ok this is confusing. This story was really really good but I don't know who Holiday really was or what was going on! Was it Falcone? Was it Gilda Dent? Was it Harvey Dent!? Or did they all do it at different times?
JasonX 0 Report post Posted August 7, 2004 Ok this is confusing. This story was really really good but I don't know who Holiday really was or what was going on! Was it Falcone? Was it Gilda Dent? Was it Harvey Dent!? Or did they all do it at different times? Gilda Dent did the first set of murders. She quit right before Alberto Falcone's "death", which was a ruse so as to allow him to go around killing the next set of victims using the Holiday MO. Harvy Dent can be considered Holiday only in the sense that he killed The Roman on a holiday and the fact that he didn't correct Batman and Gordon when they decided that Harvey was the second killer with the revelation that he was talking about his wife, when he revealed that there were two killers... Damaramu 0 Report post Posted August 7, 2004 Well then what's with her line about "Let them think it was Alberto Fracone" at the end? She says it like he did nothing but everyone thinks he did.
JasonX 0 Report post Posted August 7, 2004 Well then what's with her line about "Let them think it was Alberto Fracone" at the end? She says it like he did nothing but everyone thinks he did. It was a reference to the fact that everyone thought Alberto committed all of the Holiday murders when in reality he only committed half of the murders. A factor that was made all the more easy with the fact that Alberto was quite willing to take full credit for all of the murders. That being said, one of my major complaints about Dark Victory, the sequal to Long Halloween, is the fact that they totally drop the ball in terms of following up on Gilda being one of the Holiday killers.
