Guest Report post Posted April 28, 2002 D'lo ruled on heat. He cut a good promo and then had a good match, plus he got a great reaction. He better be on Raw tomorrow night and he better win a match. I'm sick of WWF burying D'lo. You betta recognize D'lo's talent WWF!
Guest caboose Report post Posted April 28, 2002 As the Board's true D-Lo mark I say this: YEAH BABY AND ABOUT FUCKING TIME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Sorry Spike, your time as Euro Champ is coming to an end. tick tock tick tock...
Guest razazteca Report post Posted April 28, 2002 Will D-Lo get the honor of jobbing to Main Event star X-Pac? Or maybe get the European Title back, you know D-Lo is from Naples, Italy!!!
Guest Will Scarlet Report post Posted April 28, 2002 It was good to see D'Lo back. Hopefully now he will be getting some time on Raw. I have been loving Heat lately. I found the Dreamer-Credible and D'Lo-Guerrero matches to be quite enjoyable. Sheesh. I would rather watch Heat than Smackdown lately.
Guest Human Fly Report post Posted April 28, 2002 Heat has been a lot better then Smackdown. I thought SD was supposed to be the wrestling show? D-Lo should feud for the IC title. If RVD's using the frog splash is good enough for Eddie to feud with him, then D-Lo should get thrown in and we can have a Triple Threat feud for the IC title with everyone using the frog splash. Guest The Mighty Damaramu Report post Posted April 28, 2002 I never understood the thing about D-Lo....I just didn't like him. I always hated that stupid head bob and I look forward to seeing him get it knocked around.
Guest notJames Report post Posted April 28, 2002 D'lo lost a lot of weight! I almost didn't "recognize" him... Seriously, he looks good. The promo was a little odd, too much goody-goody babyface for the generally heelish D'lo, but I'm sure he'll kick it up once he's back in the groove. Welcome back, Mr. Soon-to-be-Euro Champ! Guest JMTapes Report post Posted April 28, 2002 Wow, I didn't see the promo.. I gotta check out the replay. His match was great, and although I hate guys getting jobbed out their first time back (a la Hennig), it was understandable if they want to make Eddie look like a credible IC champ. -JM jmtapes.com
Guest notJames Report post Posted April 28, 2002 Yet, at the same time, why give a title shot to someone on his first day back? It seems like the Fed is really pushing the notion that the titles mean something again, having the Undisputed Title defended much more rarely, having the commentators stress the importance of competitors vying for shots at the belt(s), etc. So I don't understand why they'd put D'lo in a title match right off the bat. I'm not complaining too much, since I like D'lo and I think he's ready for a better push than last time. Yet, the Fed seems to contradict itself by doing that. If they're really serious about pushing D'lo, perhaps Eddy should have won through nefarious means i.e. pulling the tights, foot on the ropes, and the like, instead of getting a clean win with his finisher. Eh, whatever puts D'lo back on my TV is good enough for me. Jersey represent!!!
Guest Report post Posted April 28, 2002 Maybe they can have Regal take the title back from Spike and then feud with D'Lo. Oh wait, that might give some name back to the belt, throw that away...
Guest FakeRazor Report post Posted April 29, 2002 D'Lo looked great tonight. He deffinatly lost more weight, showing the WWF his true work ethic. He worked a pretty awesome match with Guererro, and that new twisting sidewalk slam type move was friggin awesome! I'd like to see him get in the IC title hunt again, in the battle of the frog splashes.
Guest Austin3164life Report post Posted April 29, 2002 Battle of the Frog Splash feud sounds nice. It would be good to see D'Lo in the hunt for the IC Title. Maybe he can destory Spike for the Euro belt, and possibly beat Eddie for the IC Title, making him a double champ. Knowing his luck, as soon as he wins both titles, he'll job them to X-Pac or Regal the next night on Raw.....
Guest Mole Report post Posted April 29, 2002 Yes, that move he did was awesome.

Guest Flyboy Report post Posted April 29, 2002 Let me get this straight... Dlo cut a good promo...got over...and had a good match? I think I know who will be buried next. *smirks and points to the guy in my sig* Or Angle.. Jericho.. I could go on. Anyhow... back on subject, D'Lo looks really good since his return. That was a good match and he showed that awesome move. Kudos! It's good to see him back. Now, if only he could stop having seizures when he comes out. Guest cobainwasmurdered Report post Posted April 29, 2002 I've always loved D-Lo. the guys got charisma. If he doesn't piss off the wrong people COUGHhhhCOUGH he could go far.
Guest What?! Report post Posted April 29, 2002 Does anyone know the name of that cool move he did? If you watched the match, you know which one.
Guest Report post Posted April 29, 2002 That move was cool. He picked them up in like a rock bottom position and then he spun like 180 degrees and did the rock bottom. He should use that as his finisher:)
Guest evenflowDDT Report post Posted April 29, 2002 Go figure the one time I miss HeAT I miss something important... guess I'll have to stay tuned for the replay, which will guarantee even more that I'll fall asleep during RAW tomorrow, not that I'd mind, as I've never seen D'lo wrestle in "real life" before so this is going to be much cooler for me than some Austin vs. Big Show lame/main event
Guest Zero_Cool Report post Posted April 29, 2002 Well, I didn't see the match, but is it a Sambo Suplex?
Guest Report post Posted April 29, 2002 Well, I didn't see the match, but is it a Sambo Suplex? I don't remember the move exactly, and I don't even know if this is close. But basically D'lo picked up Eddy, as if for a Rock Bottom. Then D'lo swung Guerrero around to the other side of himself, and dropped him into what looked like Matt Hardy's Side Effect/Bret Hart's old Hart Attack. Again, I don't even know if this is as close to accurate, as I wasn't really paying attention. In fact, I think it was very close to Kurrgan's old move that he used during his time with the Oddities. Guest Report post Posted April 29, 2002 What's wrong with D'Lo's neck anyway? He looks like a bobblehead doll. But he has improved, at least he got away from Ahmed Johnson, and Mizark Henry.

Guest Caliban Report post Posted April 29, 2002 Hard to believe how far down the ladder D'Lo Brown slipped after the Droz incident. Go to wwfsuperstars.com and check out D'Lo's photo bio. From Lo Down to the team with the Godfather, and back to when D' Lo was actually an over singles wrestler, it's all there. Some of those captions for Lo Down are really quite racist, too. Hope to see D' Lo on RAW soon, since Heat is unavailable in the UK. He really is an awesome talent. I can't wait for a feud between Benoit and D' Lo. It'll happen sooner or later. Guest Spaceman Spiff Report post Posted April 29, 2002 Jeez.....am I the only person who dislikes D-Lo!? I'm not really a fan of his either. I don't hate him, he's OK in the ring, it's just that there are other people I'd much rather watch.
Guest MarvinisaLunatic Report post Posted April 29, 2002 Triple Threat IC Title match at Judgment Day Eddy vs RVD vs D'Lo Come on, it would be an awesome match... But D'lo needs to get rid of the purple kneepads.

I've always loved his Sky High power bomb variation (the one that Kidman did in 2000 in WCW). Just think---Heyman could have had this guy---but signed the Gangstas instead. -=Mike
