Guest Report post Posted April 29, 2002 http://us.imdb.com/Credits?0287888 What do they use the writers for? Also from IMDB: http://us.imdb.com/Bio?Hardy,+Matt Along with Jeff Hardy, ranked number 9 in a poll of the 10 most humble people in wrestling. Anyone know what poll this was? That just struck me as a wierd thing to list. The again I think its wierd how IMDB lists wrestling shows but oh well. So anyone have any thoughts on the show? I know the ratings are down but I think its almost as good as the first season. The people they picked look to have more potential too. The Optimum Fitness is retarded. A few times a week would be fine, but they do it every day. My picks to win would be Hawk and Anni. Anni because the WWF doesnt have any hossettes right now. Hawk because he seems to have more charisma than the others even though he doesnt look too hot in the ring.

Guest phoenixrising Report post Posted April 29, 2002 This cast looks like they're being worked harder than the first cast - their in-ring time, the Optimum Fitness stuff, and having Bob Holly as one of the trainers. On the flipside this cast looks a heck of a lot more prepared than the TE I cast - no one has quit, everyone has either been cut or left due to injury. They're focusing also on the promos more than TE I which is appropriate considering how important the promo is. Although I didn't like them cutting a technically skilled guy just cause his personality was boring. There's been a little too much Real World stuff on both of the shows - in Tough Enough I you had the tranvestite bar, Taylor getting drunk, the pool incident between Nidia and one of the dudes I can't remember and TE II with the whole Jackie/Pete affair. I guess that's how MTV gets the reality fans to watch it, cause the wrestling fans will watch to see how these guys become wrestlers. Here's a question: How many more Tough Enough's can they do? They'll always have the volunteers for the tryouts, but there's only so much new stuff you can do for each one - change trainers, different vacation spots, focusing on different aspects of wrestling. Real World has run into this problem too, so now you have the Survivor-style elimination if one of the roommates loses their job in an attempt to refresh the show. If the WWF and MTV are going to run more Tough Enoughs they need to start figuring ways to refresh the concept so it doesn't get stale. Picks: Guys: Hawk - Good look, good promos, has intensity mixed in with craziness that would help fans distinguish him from other wrestlers Girls: Jackie - mostly because of the look...she's a hossette too. Any of the three girls could win, but I'll go with Jackie.
Guest TheHulkster Report post Posted April 29, 2002 We are midway through the season and i'm still not sure the producers and directors know what kind of show they want TE2 to be. This week's episode was boring. Judging by the previews, I was pretty pumped because Snow looked pissed off and Hawk was crying in them. All I got was a bunch of whiny 20 year olds bitching about how tired they are. I thought TE1 was more entertaining. The guys behind TE2 haven't given any of the cast members traits that the viewer could identify them with. Linda is pushy for one episode, but seemingly fine with everyone for the rest of the episodes, being pushed to the back and only popping up for random insight on things happening with other people. The same could be said for Anni. One episode she is kinda sorta insecure for 5 minutes. That is all we know about her up to this point and we are many episodes in. In reality, the same could be said for everyone. Not a single one of the people on TE2 has been given any sense of character. On a final note, I don't know if i'm alone on this one, but i'd nail Anni. She looks pretty good for a buff chick.
