Sorry if I'm infringing on anyone's "thread rights", but I saw something related to RAW that I felt the need to bitch about.

 

Big Show will miss Raw this week, as he's doing on-hand publicity for the May German tour

Now, IMO, the heel turn sucked as it was, but now the big oaf isn't even going to be on RAW to capitalize on it?  So do we get another Austin/Hall epic, or are they gonna "shake things up" and give us Austin/X-Pac?

 

It was also reported that the only reason Show was added to the NWO was to make it a threesome, since Nash is going to be out.  So they WWF basically admits to a hotshotted turn, then can't follow up on it because of a PR trip?  Didn't they know about it ahead of time?

 

I hope RAW surprises me tonight, because right now I'm not looking forward to it.

Hmm.  RAW is only 10 hours away. You surely don't want to miss tonight's RAW, let alone go another 5 or 6 hours without a RAW thread.  

 

I dont know how this thread can be sustained for 10 hours, because quite frankly there just isn't much to say about RAW other than it's going to suck.

That doesn't make any sense, either.  How will they explain his absence?  It wasn't like he was beatdown last week or injured on camera.

I bet they have Flair suspend Big Show for a week. The show will probably open with a 15-20 minute SCSA promo saying Flair is out to screw him.

Well I'm sure as hell excited about Raw.  It's been pretty fresh and I am just damn optimistic.  I never dreaded Nitro or Thunder even in the dying years of wCw. I always watch just to hope WWF pulls off its best show yet.

 

Hopefully RVD/Eddie will be involved in some type of tag match, Booker will look like a face again, Austin will take his revenge out on Xpac by kicking his ass and calling out show for net week, and Jericho/HHH/Taker/Hogan will be furthered.

 

And don't forget Lesnar! Who's next?

RAW PREVIEW

 

Last week on RAW, Ric Flair was looking to make amends with Stone Cold Steve Austin for accidentally costing Austin the No. 1 contender spot at Backlash.  

To do so, Flair put Austin in a tag match with Big Show against the nWo. But in the end, Show chokeslammed Austin and sided with Scott Hall and X-Pac!

 

What will the Rattlesnake say about Show? What will he do about Flair? And will the nWo have any more tricks up their sleeve? Find out tonight!

 

Last Monday, we saw SmackDown!'s Triple H make a surprise appearance on RAW, and then we saw RAW's Undertaker make a surprise appearance on SmackDown! Will any of these megastars make surprise appearances tonight, just three days before Hollywood Hulk Hogan defends the Undisputed World Wrestling Federation Championship against Chris Jericho?

eh, i just hear a lot of the same people saying "if this (doesnt) happen, im going to boycott," and a week later they're posting about smackdown.

They'll probably just mention Lou. I don't think they'll have the wrestlers come out to the ring or anything. They have footage of Lou in their WCW video library, if they wanted to show him.

Thesz was never in the WWF, so I doubt they'll do one of those "piano music and video packages" things. And to be honest, Thesz is so old that a lot of marks think Austin's move is a "Luthez press" and have no idea where the name came from.

 

About the Big Show, I bet Flair will say that he's barred the nWo from the building tonight. So that means that someone else will run-in if Austin has a match, thereby making the nWo a foursome. Not saying that'd be cool, but I could see it happening.
