So would he have gotten rid of Raw and all the regular pay-per-views? Thats a pretty wierd idea. And how was Shotgun anything like a weekly ppv?

I think at one point Vince kicked around teh idea of doing weekly PPVs in order to compete with the then dominant WCW in 1996/early 97.  He decided, rightly so that it would bomb, no one was buying his monthly PPVs, so why would they buy one every week?  Jarrett's promotion will fail, the only reason I'd watch it is because my friend has a black box.
