Good west coast indy groups

I was wondering what are some good west coast Indy groups.  I am mostly exposed to east coast wrestling (living on the East Coast and what not).  I always hear and have seen on a few occasions that XPW sucks and I want to see some good west coast groups.  Any opinions, and where is a good place to get tapes of them.

UPW is pretty good. it's affilated with the WWF as a kinda minor league. on occasion people like the hardys and lita and ege and christian have appeared on shows.  RVD was on a show last april.  I haven't been to any of their shows so I don't.  The UIWA was pretty good, but it folded.  They had a deal last year at my local boys and girls club in Port Hueneme, CA but after a few shoiws, the city or the club banned them from coming back. I have no idea why, cuz they were pretty clean, not much violence, no blood, no profanity.  i dont get it.

XPW is pretty bad, but their TV show is hilarious.  they have many DUMB skits involving the owner and others.  really stupid, but so bad its good cheesy acting galore.  the one xpw show I went to in Ventura ,CA was good.  Abdullah the Butcher was there and man was he crazy, stapling axl rottens head and stuff.

Thanks I'll check those out, except for XPW (been there, done that, didn't care for it.)

<----- Frank Stallone will be happy.

All Pro Wrestling promoted by Roland Alexander as seen in Beyond The Mat.  Stars include American Dragon, Low-Ki, Michael Modest, Tony Jones, The Ballard Brothers, Christopher Daniels, among others.

Mike Modest and Donavan Morgan have a school w/ a fed starting soon. PWI or Pro Wrestling Iron. Promises to be pretty good. APW and UPW are also pretty good. I heard Extremely Strange Wrestling out of San Fran is alot of fun.

Eh, UPW is no APW.  UPW has some pretty weird ass gimmicks.

i dont think UPW wis with wwf anymore. UPW has good athletes and put on a good show from the videos i have seen. APW is just awesome with the King of Indies Tourneys ruling the planet.

UPW is no longer affiliated with the WWF but is one of the strongest and most consistent Indy groups in the west. Proptype and Nathan Jones are two huge names in particular who came out of the promotion. I would highly recommend at least giving it a try because the people behind it are pretty intelligent, the wrestlers work hard and it's pretty fan friendly.
