What are you listening to right now?

Hyannis Sound (acapella group)-Fields of Gold

Am I the only one on this board who likes acapella music? It's been one of my big guilty pleasures over the past year or two. Love that shit. I'm also a big fan of "Fields of Gold", I hate solo Sting but I really like that song for some reason and "Russians" too.

It's such an auditory smorgasbord that I have to keep it in light rotation, but come on, it's not terrible.

It's not a survey.

"Quay Cur" and "Chief Inspector Blancheflower" manage to be pretty good start to finish. "1917" is pretty great, even if it's about that baseball team I hate (a few references to the South Side, "but not if he's from up north," name-checking a few of the Black Sox). "Birdie Brain" is cool, the beginning of the title track is cool but it loses steam. "Straight Street" does little for me.

I've always considered this song unnecessary at the end of The Queen Is Dead, but the title pops into my head a lot.

Blueberry Boat is good, but I never have any desire to listen to it through these days. We've discussed it before, but the second half of '1917' is the best bit and should have been the closer.
