Allright, another 7 days have passed so here is the stuff coming out on DVD this week that I have some interest in. These are only my personal selections, so there is probably some stuff I didn't list.

Buio Omega - Beyond the Darkness:

I'm a big mark for Italian horror, so I may just pick this up despite not seeing it. I have heard good and bad things about it, so I wouldn't recommend it unless you are into the Italian stuff. I hear the gore level is pretty high. Worth a rental at least.

The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy:

Not much needs to be said about this. If you are a fan, this is one disc you can't be without. It's crammed with some juicy extras, so even if you aren't familiar with the content, you may want to check it out. For fans, it's a no brainer.

Re-Animator - Millenium Edition:

Here is another "must have" disc for fans of the film. I have the original DVD, and it's decent, but the sound is horrible (mono) and this one has been remastered in 5.1, plus it has more extras (2 discs). I can't imagine there are many genre fans who haven't seen this movie, but if you are one of them, do yourself a favour and check it out.

Till' next week.

Re-Animator is a fucking gold mine.  The scene with the cat was the one time I think I was near death with laughter.  Toooooooo funny.

I'll probably pick up the Jerry McGuire SE DVD for my brother's b-day.  I'm still waiting for the TF DVD set but it appears that Future Shop isn't carrying it yet...

Yea, uhhh... I can't believe there are people out there who haven't seen Re-animator! They're... umm... really missing out on... Re-animating... uhh... stuff.

OK I'll see if anywhere around here carries the DVD ;)
