nl5xsk1 Posted September 9, 2004 Report Posted September 9, 2004 Hmmmm, redbaron you're a Habs fan right? After this past spring's playoff series, let me say one thing: Screw you on your "Like being up three games to one or three games to nothing, and then the opposing teams win the series?" /still angry Bruins fan //no disrepect meant with the 'screw you'
Slayer Posted September 9, 2004 Author Report Posted September 9, 2004 What about series. Like being up three games to one or three games to nothing, and then the opposing teams win the series? oh yeah Easily last years Cubs, going up 3-1 with the so-called Dynamic Duo set for another rotation and still losing it while blaming it on some poor chump in the stands
Slayer Posted September 9, 2004 Author Report Posted September 9, 2004 I also find it funny for some reason that the only sport to have had 0-3 series comebacks is hockey
Guest GreatOne Posted September 9, 2004 Report Posted September 9, 2004 Well my High Heat '02 season had the Red Sox come back from 3-0 to beat the Phillies--the last two in Philly Other than that, I guess the closest you get is Nuggets/Jazz '94 and Blazers/Mavs '03--both coming from 3-0 to force Game 7 (and the White Sox against the Tribe in Major League II )
cabbageboy Posted September 9, 2004 Report Posted September 9, 2004 I'm surprised no one mentioned the 1994 LSU/KY game where LSU had a 33 pt. lead and UK came all the way back to win it. LSU wasn't real good but still....a 33 point lead?? Another UK game would be the 1998 rematch with Duke, where the Blue Devils had a 17 pt. lead with 8 mins to play and choked like bitches.
