You order a 1/4 pounder and specificaly ask for NO CHEESE...then they dick behind the counter will get cute, "we don't put cheese on unless you ask"...then you get your burger...and there is cheese...and the little asshole seems offended that you take it back and ask to have it done right. McDonalds will put cheese on anything whether you ask them to or not...thus they are my least favorite fast food place and I don't buy anything from them anymore. I went to KFC today, pulled up to the menu ready to tell them my order and I swear it took the moron ten minutes to understand my order. I was like ME: "Yeah I want the two piece dinner with mash potatoes and beans" KFC:"The two piece?" ME:"Yeah two piece" KFC:"With what two sides?" GREY!!! *gag* But my most recent "worst experience" at a fast food place was at the Subway across from my office. I go over & ask for a foot-long veggie on whole wheat... Server: Do you want cheese? Me: No.. Server puts cheese on. Me: Uh, NO Cheese! Server: Oh, sorry. I proceed to tell them what I want on it, slow enough so that they have time to do it all. Server: Sauce? Me: No. Server: Mayo? Me: No. But as I'm finishing the "O" in No, they proceed to squirt mayo on my sub! I've never experienced this much stupidity in one place and in such a short amount of time. The larger cities for the most part require a steel studed and/or fire wall between the kitchen and serving area, with a window or pass through of course in their local building codes. I try not to eat at either of those places. If I really am desperate for food, I'll goto Taco Bell (because you can substitute meat with beans) or Harvey's, both of which are usually "opened" up as well. I kinda feel bad for fast food workers...they aren't payed shit, they're ALWAYS understaffed and when things are running behind they end up taking heat for it. At all of the others, McDonald's, Wendy's, wherever, it's a 50/50 chance as to whether the person taking the orders speaks English or not. But at Taco Bell, it's all white kids... spooky. I never eat anywhere that the bathroom is not kept up at least to minimum standards. Contrary to popular belief, there is no such thing as a 5 or 10 second rule either....(in accordance with how long droped food stays on the floor before its picked up.)
