Lil' Bitch 0 Report post Posted September 18, 2004 Okay, apparantly I have this search bar under my current MSN searchbar and I have no idea how to get rid of it. I ran SearchBot and Trojan Hunter and it didn't come up with anything, I can make it go away by right clicking on the Search Bar area and clicking on its name to make it go away, but if I open up a new window, its still there. Any help? Thanks in advance.

Addy 0 Report post Posted September 18, 2004 Start > Run > regedit This will take you to the registry editor. Delete the following: HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\clsid\{52fe5233-367c-4efb-bdd7-0be4d212c107} HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\software\microsoft\internet explorer\toolbar\{52fe5233-367c-4efb-bdd7-0be4d212c107} Then that should be it. Guest Shoes Head Report post Posted October 6, 2004 The regedit ought to work, but if there's an exe in your temp dir stuck in autostart, it'll just come back. Get a proggie called "HijackThis" - that ought to work.
