Okay, apparantly I have this search bar under my current MSN searchbar and I have no idea how to get rid of it. I ran SearchBot and Trojan Hunter and it didn't come up with anything, I can make it go away by right clicking on the Search Bar area and clicking on its name to make it go away, but if I open up a new window, its still there. Any help? Thanks in advance.

Start > Run > regedit

This will take you to the registry editor.

Delete the following:

HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\clsid\{52fe5233-367c-4efb-bdd7-0be4d212c107}

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\software\microsoft\internet explorer\toolbar\{52fe5233-367c-4efb-bdd7-0be4d212c107}

Then that should be it.

The regedit ought to work, but if there's an exe in your temp dir stuck in autostart, it'll just come back.

Get a proggie called "HijackThis" - that ought to work.
