Who's the giant racoon that seems to just be a part of the group every now and then. He also transforms and they can travel on him. I do know that he's Miroku's friend and associate, and in some ways is not unlike what Miyoga is to Inuyasha or Jaken is to Sesshomaru. He helps Miroku in his schemes from time to time, such as when Inuyasha and Kagome first met Miroku and Miroku used the racoon guy to distract Inuyasha while he stole Kagome's shards. That might've occured within the first 14 episodes, I can't say for sure. Edit: It occurs to me that the guy is probably supposed to be a tanuki, but yes, after checking around his name is Hachi, as Andrew said below. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
