Guest Real F'n Show Posted September 26, 2004 Report Posted September 26, 2004 Never seen the guy, but hopefully he makes a better impression than Miyamoto, which I guess, wouldn't really be that hard to do.
Guest Donners Posted September 26, 2004 Report Posted September 26, 2004 Aw, I thought it was Masato Tanaka for a split-second.
Corey_Lazarus Posted September 26, 2004 Report Posted September 26, 2004 For a second, when you said Miyamoto, I thought of Returner. And then I remembered how much better Returner is than anything TNA has ever produced, and I cried. Then I listened to my friend Kurt's band Chadmeister, which is an emo band making fun of other emo bands, and I laughed. Then I listened to some Slayer, and got angry that I missed OzzFest this year. And after that... ...well, after that is none of your damn business!
Guest JebusNassedar Posted September 26, 2004 Report Posted September 26, 2004 I don't post on this here forum, but I figured now was the time. Masao Inoue is terrible. Just positively terrible. He's a midcard jobber with only one unique thing about him; his tights have a big white leaf on the ass. The man makes Kenzo Suzuki look like Great Muta. He's a completely colorless suckbag. The only thing 'punishing' about him is having to sit through a ful match of his.
Corey_Lazarus Posted September 27, 2004 Report Posted September 27, 2004 So, basically, once again TNA fucks up by giving us Japan's worst and hoping fans will watch because the guy's Japanese. The problem with that though, is that puro fans know of the guy and know he's crap, so they won't watch, and the marks don't give a fuck if a wrestler's from Japan or Canada or America.
Guest Staravenger Posted September 27, 2004 Report Posted September 27, 2004 so what does this make TNA in the Japanese Cross-over Department? 0 for 8?
Guest Salacious Crumb Posted September 27, 2004 Report Posted September 27, 2004 Ummm..... hate to break it to you but he's already had a TNA match where he teamed up with Team Japan in a six man tag.
SinToxic Posted September 27, 2004 Report Posted September 27, 2004 Yes Inoue is pretty colorless, passable in Japan and probable a little over average for TNA standards. 34 years old if that stands for anything. I've seen him use powerhouse style in most of his matches but with his look and size (5'11 is fine in Japan) he will have no chance of getting over in TNA, unless they bring over the whole Team Taue and push them as evil foreigners who hate country music. NOAH always tried hard to keep him busy and I guess they want to take a little break from him. I'm pissed off that they didnt bring someone like Takeshi Morishima or Kentaro Shiga. Whatever happened to Tiger Mask 4 gracing the TNA ring I still wonder to this day.
Guest Staravenger Posted September 27, 2004 Report Posted September 27, 2004 Ummm..... hate to break it to you but he's already had a TNA match where he teamed up with Team Japan in a six man tag. Shows how important he was. I barely remembered Miyamoto (or whatever his name was).
Guest Donners Posted September 28, 2004 Report Posted September 28, 2004 So you've seen him wrestle before, Corey?
Guest Donners Posted September 28, 2004 Report Posted September 28, 2004 Ummm..... hate to break it to you but he's already had a TNA match where he teamed up with Team Japan in a six man tag. When? The first Team Japan match had Ebessan, Nosawa & Kamen. Then it was Nosawa, Ryuji Hijikata & Mitsu Hirai Jr, and at the X Cup Team Japan was Nosawa, Mitsu Hirai Jr., Taichi Ishikari & Hirai Nobukazu. I see no mention of Inuoe, unless he was under a different name.
SinToxic Posted September 28, 2004 Report Posted September 28, 2004 Sonny Siaki works a better X-division style, I doubt Inoue would have been apart of Team Japan.
Corey_Lazarus Posted September 28, 2004 Report Posted September 28, 2004 So you've seen him wrestle before, Corey? No, but I am going on the opinion's of not only Jebus, but other puro fans I do chat with. When almost everybody you ask say the guy's crap? It's perfectly acceptable to believe them when they know more about the topic (puro) than you do.
Corey_Lazarus Posted September 28, 2004 Report Posted September 28, 2004 Double posts shall be burned!

Guest MikeSC Posted September 28, 2004 Report Posted September 28, 2004 Out of curiosity, since nobody seems to really know shit about him, how is he a "Japanese superstar"? -=Mike
