Villains in x-men/spiderman sequels

I would be cool if they did one of the big crossovers (Infinity Gauntlet or something) to bring in all the people that otherwise probably won't be seen: Fantastic 4, Galactus, Silver Surfer, Thanos, Dr. Doom, etc.

As for S-M: Kingpin and his henchmen would be cool, but word is that KP will be the main villain in the upcoming Daredevil movie (with Ben Affleck as Daredevil). Maybe they can use Silvermane (just kidding, he sucks :) ).

For X-Men there are better choices. Magneto should show up there somewhere, either against them or as their reluctant ally. Apocalypse would be good, as would Sentinels, Mr. Sinister, Juggernaut, etc. As long as they don't do the Phoenix saga...

Michael Duncan Clarke (Clarke Duncan?) is going to be the Kingpin in the Spider-Man movie

That's Daredevil, not Spider-Man.  Kingpin probably won't be a Spidey villain as a result.

Harry Osborn isnt Hobgoblin

I say stick The Rock (yup, THAT ONE) in as The Punisher, if anything else he has the look

aaaaaaaah nooooo

never make a suggestion of putting Rock in a movie that would likely be good!!

Hell i'd rather have Dolph be The Punisher again then to have Rock ANYWHERE near a Spiderman movie.

Spider man movies are "good movies"? You have some pretty low standards.

Come to think of it, they should use the Spiderman-Jakyl-Punisher storyline in one of the movies.  Hell, if Jakyl or the Punisher pop up by themselves in the film I would be happy.

I didn't say Harry was Hobgoblin...he's Hemogoblin isn't he?

There were 3 Goblins.

As far as action movies goes it is.

This topic isn't about movies that have oscar winner tattooed on their forehead.

Is it me, or was King Kong Bundy MADE to be the Kingpin...

Duncan is a good choice, he is big, has a deep voice, and is muscular (Kingpin wasn't fat...he was just big).

Bundy does look like a good Kingpin.

I wonder if they could get Rhyno to play Rhino?

I mentioned this in the "Spider-Man sucked" thread, but I get the feeling that Black Cat will be in the next movie.

>One word...Pyro.

They could do that if they were to do the Mystique-led Brotherhood, as they had a young St. John Alledyce (sp) in X-Men.  That'd probably mean putting Iceman to main-eventer status as a result.

Yep, and 2 Hobgoblins.  Harry was the second, and I don't remember who the third one was, but he was actually a good guy...

Duncan was the best choice.  Guy is a bloody brick wall.

After seeing Spider-Man, I would say that Venom could be introduced, but it would be best if he was in a third movie and not the  second. They mentioned a photographer named Eddie (they didn't say Eddie Brock) that couldn't get a shot of Spider-Man. Peter Parker basically got the guy's job. They could introduce Eddie Brock in the next movie, but I think putting Venom into the next movie would be rushing things. Perhaps they could put the symbiote suit into the movie, but I don't think Venom should be in it just yet. I think a Punisher appearance in the next movie would be reasonable, as long as licensing isn't a problem. Hobgoblin wouldn't be a stretch either. I hope they don't just start from scratch with new villains and everything because that's one of the things that ruined the Batman franchise. I think they should pay attention to things that were established in previous movies when they make sequels.

BTW, I want to see the Incredible Hul, but too bad it's next summer.

True.  According to IMDb, there WAS an Eddie Brock cast, but I guess it was cut to prevent another "Two-Face" situation from cropping up.  Probably also why we didn't get to see "Dr. Connors" as well...

And if Howie Long could act, he'd be my choice for Venom...
