Guest papacita Report post Posted April 30, 2002 Ok, seeing as how I'm probably the only Chyna mark in the forum, I wanted to know if there's anybody else in here that has a favorite wrestler that just about everyone else (mark or smark) hates.
Guest FakeRazor Report post Posted April 30, 2002 Test and Edge. Neither are anything great, but I don't see why everyone constantly complains about them.

Guest Report post Posted April 30, 2002 Edge. He gets 10 points for going toe-to-toe with Angle in a terrific match at Backlash, but he's severely handicapped by the fact I have yet to see him cut a convincing "serious" promo. The man is just too damn goofy.
Guest Cataclysm911 Report post Posted April 30, 2002 Steve Corino. He is my favorite wrestler, and a lot of people knock him for blading & juicing so often. To me, it shows his love for the business. I also love his promo skills & ring work. Steve Corino + Microphone = Golden I really wish that the WWF would bring him in. It would be nice to see him get some national exposure. Then he could provide for Colby and his family better.
Guest Dangerous A Report post Posted April 30, 2002 Here we go children. HHH Hall HBK Test(I don't necessarily like him, but don't feel the world will end when he gets pushed) Goldust Undertaker(since his heel turn)
Guest 5_moves_of_doom Report post Posted April 30, 2002 Test: Besides Lesner, probably the best big man in the sport today. Edge: Awesome on the mic, if not too goofy. Solid worker. HHH: EVERYONE liked him in 2000, but now that he's back all I hear is people bashing Hunter. Still a solid worker, though a little slower in the ring now. Undertaker: UT bashing has seemed to become less frequent now, but in my opinion, he was AWESOME from 1990-2000, and now he's still decent. JR: Not a wrestler, but for someone who used to be the most respected commentator in the business now everyone hates him. But not me. British Bulldog: I just love the guy as a worker, and from what I hear, as a person. Hardyz: I'm not saying they're actually great or anything, I'm just saying they're decent as opposed to them being called the worst tag team ever here. I mean, at least they bump well. Scott Hall: Another guy I love. He used to be one one of my favorites, now he's just OK. Hulk Hogan: Me=Hogan Mark He MADE wrestling. Andre the Giant: Not sure if people like him or not, but he's my favroite big man of all time. If any current big man today had an ounce of Andre's natural in-ring charisma they would be at the top of the business. Lita: She's hot. I've never seen a woman so proud of her thong. Guest 5_moves_of_doom Report post Posted April 30, 2002 Here we go children. HHH Hall HBK Since when did anyone hate Micheals? As far as I'm concerned, everyone loved him as a wrestler, maybe not a person, but a wrestler.

Guest Dangerous A Report post Posted April 30, 2002 "Since when did anyone hate Micheals? As far as I'm concerned, everyone loved him as a wrestler, maybe not a person, but a wrestler." I beg to differ. It seems to me popular opinion is if your associated with the Kliq, you suck no matter how great an in ring performer you were. That's just the vibe I get from a lot of people is all.
Guest bob_barron Report post Posted April 30, 2002 I love Bulldog too.
Guest AlwaysPissedOff Report post Posted April 30, 2002 Test- Certain people here(not naming names...) seem to think that because he's Shane's friend is the reason he has a job and gets constantly pushed despite the fact that he rarely wins and is usually a JTTS. Edge- The guy's been impressing me a lot lately, even if he's goofy as hell for the most part. Undertaker- Aside from that long-winded and BORING ass promo last night, he's been motivated and is getting the most out of the heel turn so far. Kane- He was finally growing out of the "silent, but deadly monster" role and getting an actual personality that the fans started to eat up with a spoon. Sucks about his biceps tear, though. Guest Risk Report post Posted April 30, 2002 Steven seems to be on good terms with the Smark community. Here are my picks: Justin Credible Kane(BAD gimmick, GOOD big man) X-Pac(Hate his name, but like his ring-work. He is no main-eventer though)
Guest Report post Posted April 30, 2002 Steven seems to be on good terms with the Smark community. I know. But there are a few places where I've bought up Richards, and got outright slammed for it by a good number of people.
Guest Report post Posted April 30, 2002 My craplist of Wrestlers I like, but others may despise: 1) X-Pac (better than most think) 2) Sid (yeah, he's a tool...but I like 'em) 3) Ken Shamrock (crazy, nuts, stupid, and not that bad) 4) Godfather (I'm still praying for a Papa Shango return) 5) Goldust (not a lot love 'em, but I've enjoyed his work) ??? Guest Vyce Report post Posted May 1, 2002 Here's my picks: Test: I'm no big fan, but I don't think he's nearly as bad as people make him out to be. He's a decent enough worker; hell, less talented men have gone a lot farther than he has. With the right gimmick, I'd be up for a Test push. Steve Corino: Anyone who knocks the guy hasn't seen his recent work. He's become a pretty solid worker. Edge: I'm actually kind of indifferent towards Edge. I think he's a decent worker, but his promos are just stupid and NOT amusing at all. Kane: I don't hate him. I don't think he's upper card material, but I think he's okay. Jeff Jarrett: The arguments I've had over this guy. All of the loyal WWF marks hate him because he supposedly screwed Vince out of a bunch of money. Personally, that alone would make him my hero, but that's besides the point. I've always thought that Jarrett was a good, consistent worker, who could always give a good promo. Booker T: One of THE most talented men in the WWF. Shame on you if you don't realize that. He should be main eventing RAW, instead he's feuding with Goldust. Steven Richards: He's been getting slammed on the net? I kind of feel bad for Richards. Back in 1997, it seemed as if he was on the verge of really breaking out into a star in ECW, but his various injuries (his neck in particular) really put his career on hold and almost finished it. I'm glad that he's been able to come back. I've always liked Stevie; he's not going to be mistaken for a Kawada-like worker, but he's okay, he seems to put effort and passion into his work, and he's good on the mike. Oh, and chalk me up as one of the people who can't stand Shawn Michaels. I hate him as a person, and I've actually felt that he's a bit overrated as a worker. Was he great? Absolutely. But some people make it seem as if he was the best ever in the WWF, and I just disagree with that.
Guest Austin3164life Report post Posted May 1, 2002 Booker T Triple H (I don't "love" him anymore, but I continue to wait until he gets back his workrate) Billy Kidman (I know a lot of people who say he can't work a good match) Val Venis
Guest Redhawk Report post Posted May 1, 2002 I still like Ultimate Warrior, even when did that embarrassing angle with Hogan in 1998. Booker T. Although the smarts like him, I don't know many marks who do. Scott Hall. He still entertains me, he just shouldn't wrestle for any amount of time. Stevie Ray. The best announcer ever, and a decent power wrestler. Kane. A lot of smarts don't like him because of the "Taker effect." Jeff Jarrett. Apparently I was the only person digging his last WCW run. And that music was the shit. The Cat. He entertained me during WCW's last days. But, like Hall, he shouldn't wrestle.

Guest alfdogg Report post Posted May 1, 2002 Oh yeah, and here's my list: Kane (best big man in the sport, besides BROCK~!) Sid (call me crazy, I always liked him) Undertaker (I've gotten to like him more recently, he's really been busting his ass) Rikishi (keepin that 450 sell alive) LOD Hogan (I just can't hate the guy, no matter how mch he sucks, I marked when I was little) Duggan (see Hogan) Tazz (at least I haven't seen many people on here who like him) Piper (see Tazz) both Hollys (see Tazz)
