Guest imajackoff? Report post Posted May 3, 2002 I think Jericho really stepped it up in his match w/Hogan on Smackdown. He was carrying that fossil like he had a handle sticking out of his ass. I did'nt see Hogan's match v. HHH, but from what I heard it wasnt great. If this is true, then this SD match was Hogan's best since his return. I particulary liked the part of the match where Jericho channeled Randy Savage and did the double axe handle of the top rope to the guardrail followed by the old dive over the top rope to the floor choking move that Savage used to do. Also, I've noticed that Cole has been making a point to put Jericho over as a formidable foe the last few weeks, instead of just a lucky jackass that they did for the 4 months he had the title. Guest pinnacleofallthingsmanly Report post Posted May 3, 2002 Jericho was on tonight. I was legitamately impressed by him tonight. He kep me entertained even with his little stuff that he did tonight (making the belt motion around his waist the hwole night, interrupting Vince and tearing up a peice of the barricade after his loss). He did a great job tonight.
Guest dreamer420 Report post Posted May 3, 2002 I thought the Hogan/Jericho match was decent last night. The title picture is looking pretty jammed full right now so it made the ending of that match so much more better. With the Undertaker's music hitting and Hogan rolling up Jericho, I thought it was pretty good.
Guest godthedog Report post Posted May 4, 2002 there was a moment when he was going to the outside and kicked the announce table in frustration, then sold the kick. PURE COMEDY GOLD. the leg drop into the walls was pretty nice too.
Guest Dangerous A Report post Posted May 4, 2002 I didn't think Jericho/Hogan was really any better or worse than Hogan/Rock and Hogan/HHH from a workrate standpoint. Hogan just moves and bumps so horribly that it looks stupid no matter who is in the ring with him. I don't even think HBK at his peak could've carried Hogan to a decent match. Hogan is really terrible. Even his dated promos are lame.
Guest ManKinnd Report post Posted May 4, 2002 What do you think Kawada could get out of Hogan?
Guest Dangerous A Report post Posted May 4, 2002 Not much because Hogan doesn't work stiff. Hasn't since he knocked out Inoki in the early 80's.

Guest Blue Bacchus Report post Posted May 5, 2002 Well it was certainly better than HHH vs. HHH at Backlash. Hopefully Hogan will drop the belt to Jericho after Judgement Day, and the world will be a better place.
