Rogers Report post Posted May 3, 2002 I would say no as when the Orginal Nature Boy died: 1) The WWF back then was 100% against even mentioning their own past in passing on TV 2) It must have been quite a while since Buddy was associated with the WWF (actually did he stay on much longer after losing to Bruno?) and was pretty much an independant performer at the time of his passing and 3) Both Adrian Adonis and Dino Bravo were under WWF contracts when they died and I didn't hear ANYTHING about it, well untill flipping through a 1994 Roddy Piper article in a WWF magazine where his match against the late Adrian Adonis was mentioned. On the flip side though, I swear I saw footage of Haystacks Calhoun on WWF televison with an announcement that he had passed so who knows Steve Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

As far as I remember, Adrian Adonis had left the WWF after losing a match to Brutus Beefcake (where his head was shaved) and was working the Indies when he was killed... Guest Tony149 Report post Posted May 3, 2002 They may have mentioned it. Rogers was one of the first men in the WWF Hall of Fame. It's inside a WWF Magazine. Guest nWoScorpion Report post Posted May 4, 2002 Niether Adonis or Bravo were under contract when they died. Adonis left in summer-fall 1987, and Bravo retired from Wrestling sometime in 1992.
