Here is what I meant earlier in regards to Anakin.  It is tough to root for him as the bouncing babyface given that turns heel and becomes Vader.  Yeah, Vader was an awesome heel but I wouldn't say I ever actively cheered him.  

 

I heard that Jar Jar dies in this next movie?  Any truth to it?  It'd be funny if Anakin kills him when he turns heel.  I bet the whole theater applauds Anakin.  Haha!

Cabbageboy, Jar Jar does not die. He'll be in the third film. Ahmed Best confirmed this.

I'm reading a lot of very positive reviews from this one, including reviews from Variety, Ain't it cool, and Richard Roeper, but I find it odd that the bad reviews are the ones that are getting all the press, like NY Times, Hollywood Reporter and Roger Ebert (the very first time he's given a Star Wars film a bad review.) What do you guys think?

I'm downloading Episode 2 right now off Kazaa. I can't wait, I gotta watch this movie ASAP. Although the name sucks, its Star Wars and I just can't wait to see it.

They have it on Kazaa? I thought Kazaa was getting shut down.

 

Anakin holds his mother in his arms as she dies, then decides to take out his rage on a bunch of innocent Tusken Raider women and children.

 

Darth Tyranus severs his right arm at the elbow.

 

He's buried under a huge crane, only to be rescued by Yoda (similar to the X-Wing/swamp thing in ESB).

 

He also defies the Jedi code by marrying Padme on Naboo.  This is the end of the movie.

 

Chancellor Palpatine and Count Dooku are double agents waging the separatist war.  They are secretly working together under their Dark Side aliases, Darth Sidious and Darth Tyranus.  This is revealed after Tyranus escapes a lightsaber fight with Yoda.

 

Mace Windu kills Jango Fett.  Boba therefore grows up to hate Jedi.

 

Anybody else know more?

Next time label these spoilers. Im not that pissed, but other people might be.

 

About the movie I think itll be better than Episode I but not up to par with the original trilogy. Count Dooku is a very lame villain name though.

Can anyone point me to an online listing of Digital Cinemas? I'm trying to find one in my area for Episode II so I can fully appreciate the image quality. I've tried running searches but no luck so far. I know they're very scarse but I could be lucky findind one in the Miami, Ft. Lauderdale, Pompano Beach area.

I must sound very inept, but if anyone can help me I'll be grateful.

And to think, I remember back when a movie couldn't be pirated until AFTER it had hit theaters... didn't this same deal happen with Episode 1? How did those crafty pirates to that?!

They must get copies off people that get into the critics showings or advanced screenings.

 

However i do not undertstand why people dl them. Unless you have a very good computer you will get shitty pixeled images and choppy sound. why would someone rather do that over seeing it at a theater?

I still plan to see it in theaters, but my reason for d/ling it is quite simple. When a star wars fanatic won't shut the fuck up about how great episode 2 will be, all i have to do is threaten to spoil it and they'll run away.
