Guest Report post Posted May 4, 2002 I don't know if this has been posted yet or not, but in the recent Ross Report, Ross refers to the WWF several times as World Wrestling Entertainment surly a sign of things to come
Guest AM The Kid Report post Posted May 4, 2002 Maybe he was too lazy to write "the federation" or put the little WWF logo in there. I hope.
Guest Report post Posted May 4, 2002 Say "WWE" out loud to yourselves. It sounds funny.
Guest Dr. Wrestlingphysics Report post Posted May 4, 2002 I realise that they've been forced into a partial name change by them damned tree huggers who's name WWF doesn't even stand for anymore (they're the Worldwide Fund for Nature ie WFN), but WWE and "World Wrestling Entertainment" doesn't sound right at all. Guest Report post Posted May 4, 2002 Here is the new logo, for "WWE" http://411wrestling.com/images/wwe.gif
Guest The Electrifyer Report post Posted May 4, 2002 Here is the new logo, for "WWE" http://411wrestling.com/images/wwe.gif Where the hell's the E in that logo??? And WWE just doesn't flow like WWF does.
Guest Tha Cunnysmythe Report post Posted May 4, 2002 I'll bet somebody just used paint to erase the F and change the red to black. Retarded.
Guest pinnacleofallthingsmanly Report post Posted May 4, 2002 I'm not calling it the fucking WWE. I'm not calling it World Wrestling Entertainment. I'm not doing any of that crap. Fuck all of this entertainment/"sports entertainment" bullshit. They are going to end up parodying themselves.
Guest muzanisa Report post Posted May 4, 2002 Damn straight it's the world wide wrestling federation. The WWWF and it always will be. We'll get used to it. Last Season my team changed their badge just after my mate had a massive backpiece of the old one tattoed on. He had a reason to be pissed off, unless anyone has the WWF logo tattoed on them you haven't. BTW if you have got a WWF logo on you HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA! Guest Nevermortal Report post Posted May 4, 2002 Fuck the Animals. I've been calling it the WWF for 10+ years and I'm not changing because The World Wildlife Fund has a hissyfit. Fuckers.
Guest Report post Posted May 4, 2002 Um, I'm sorry, but is this really that important? It's one letter, that's all. with all the problems in the WWf (heh) right now, you're worried about one letter? what about the Lance Storms of the Wwf, and all that? Guest Report post Posted May 4, 2002 Why can't they just go back to using the old blocky logo? The way I saw it was that the animal WWF's problem was that they changed the logo. They could keep their name if they just went back to the old logo. I guess hand-scrawled logos just have too much "attitude" in them....
Guest Ravenbomb Report post Posted May 5, 2002 It's barely even a letter change, it's more like adding a line, but I agree, those animal bitches are stupid. Buuuuuut, sisters' a vet so I guess I'll say there's an exception to every rule.
Guest Report post Posted May 5, 2002 Fucking retarded. I thought they had all of this solved when they switched 'Titan Sports' to WWFE/World Wrestling Federation Entertainment. I'd rather see WWFE over WWE anyday.
Guest Hogan Made Wrestling Report post Posted May 5, 2002 It wouldn't surprise me if the WWF tracked the number of accidental hits to WWE.com and to WWFE.com (since this whole change supposedly will affect their website the most in terms of financial impact) and went with the one that was hit the most often.
