Idea: have flair join nwo. huh? stop groaning!

Okay, I have a solution for several Raw problems.

1. The strange Flair/Austin psuedo-feud

2. The lack of nWo Cred

3.Austin's lack of motivation

4. The horrid Big Show/Austin match on the horizon.

So, anyway, Have Flair turn on Austin and HOSS~! on Raw and join the nWo. This immediately gives them a leader and some credability.(2) Then forget about the Austin/Big Show feud (No totally, just out it on the backburner) (4) and start up a real Austin/Flair feud leading to and through JD (1) Austin will probably want to work with Flair (3) leading to better match quality and a better all around show. What do you think?

Solid idea, but Flair's gonna look like a HUGE tool since he championed so hard for the Geezer World Order to not be brought back in the first place.

Also, why CAN'T we forget about the Slow/Austin feud, dammit?!!?!?!?! :(

They could find a way to make Flair be an evil mastermind the whole time. Maybe he could say that all his begging and pleading to keep them out  was really goading Vince into bringing the nWo in. It would also explain why Flair picked the nWo for the show

Don't just totally drop the feud (Keep some continuity) but make it more of an nWo vs Austin then Show vs. austin

Heh, I knew what you were getting at, I was just being sarcastic(but I really WOULD like to forget about it...).

On the Flair to the NWO thought, it makes a lot of sense now that I think about it. Also would explain why he's done nothing more then "suspend" Nash.

what about continuity from when flair and the nWo were in wcw...nevermind dumb question.

::CWM slaps himself on the head for thinking the wwf would remember that kinda thing::

What continuity? Does the Magnificent 7 (aka nWo Flair) ring a bell? It's not like WCW ever had any anyway, so there's nothing worth remembering.

I thought Flair was joining the nWo so he could feud with Stone Cold from the beginning... I mean he's an owner, and that's what owners do, feud with Stone Cold because they can't think of anything new for the guy to do.

Flair is a better heel, imo. And it's pretty much obvious that the 'nWo is a poison to kill the WWF' storyline is done & overwith. Hell, they don't even need some long and contrived explanation if Flair does align with the nWo. Flair gets even more & more pissed off every week because no one respects him as an owner - therefore, desperate times call for desperate measures. If he can't earn their respect, he'll have the nWo beat it out of them. Plus, wouldn't that be the ultimate kick in the ass to Vince from Ric - "Vince's own" nWo, working for his most recent nemesis (Flair) by choice. ;p

Sounds good to me.

Plus, it'd be great for the nWo because they won't just be a bunch of old guys and rejects.... but a COOL bunch of legends and potential stars who have kept down by Austin. That could be their motivation. to destroy all the people keeping them from gaining total power and respect. ^_^;;;;

Austin vs. Show was just on one of the house shows, and whoever reported it said it was surprisingly good.  I think if Show was motivated by having a big slot at a PPV then the two could have atleast a decent match.  Making it no DQ or something that would mean constant brawling instead of mat wrestling, would probably make it better.

As long as they don't make the mistake of making it Big Show vs. Bradshaw.  This was also on a house show and they gave it around 15 minutes!  I feel bad for the people who attended that...

Austin vs. Flair is a definite for the future, but make people wait atleast til Summerslam.  Even though Flair is old, it should be a classic.

Show can be all the motivated he wants to be, but Austin may NOT be motivated if he is running a program with Big Show.

Pretty good idea, I was just thinking that this whole NWO storyline is an extension of that damn Flair-McMahon feud. So is the roster split, so basically everything else that happens after. Is that McMahon's ego enhancing is hear as I speak, hmmmmmm? Every one up in the Title situation all boils down to Mcmahon vs Flair, so if Flair turns heel, why even have the roster split, would Flair still hate Vince, i guess for me to ask these questions would be rather stupid cause they will never be answered by WWF or WWE!

Yeah, it appears this is what's going to happen. It will be revealed that Flair was against Austin all along and that the entire n.W.o. invasion was his plan. After all, he was the one who refused to sign Vince's contract and provoked him to sign them. It could easilly be said that he manipulated Vince into signing them since his victory over Vince at the Royal Rumble is what made Vince go crazy and try to kill his own creation. All the recent events can be traced back to Flair too, from him drafting them to Raw, screwing Austin at Backlash, and chosing Big Show as Austin's partner. The suspending of Nash can be played off as his way of tricking everyone into thinking they were enemies.

The only thing that worries me is that I can deffinately see this leading to Undertaker alligning with the n.W.o. which would be really stupid considering Taker destroyed Flair's life and all.

as much as i hate the idea of the new world older getting more tv time, this seems like a step in the right direction.  it gives the freshly-turned flair a chance to cut a killer 20-minute promo next week.  (and when was the last time flair cut a killer promo?  february, january?  we know he's got it in him.)  this could give austin something fresh to work with, leading HIM to cut killer promos again.  and since flair would be going against AUSTIN, he'll definitely get booed (since anyone who fights austin automatically gets booed).  it could get austin motivated again, & it would give us the great match we should've gotten 7 years ago.  it looks like the flair turn is where they're heading too, so this is a good thing.

on a completely unrelated note, i want to see austin/hogan just to see one thing: when hogan starts no-selling, austin just laughs at him, gives him the finger & stuns him.
