Damaramu Posted October 30, 2004 Report Posted October 30, 2004 I'm leaving in an hour to go to work. So a OaO thread wouldn't really be prudent.
Damaramu Posted October 30, 2004 Report Posted October 30, 2004 And Mark Clayton makes up for his mistake earlier by running a punt back for a TD making it 28-14 OU.
Damaramu Posted October 30, 2004 Report Posted October 30, 2004 Adrian Peterson with a long TD run. OU just keeps answering points with points. Amazing.
Damaramu Posted October 30, 2004 Report Posted October 30, 2004 And OSU answers with points! This game is amazing!
the pinjockey Posted October 30, 2004 Report Posted October 30, 2004 Yeah, I wish I could watch it instead of being stuck with god damn Penn State-Ohio State.
Guest Flyboy Posted October 30, 2004 Report Posted October 30, 2004 And the OU trend of looking like crap week after week continues.
Slayer Posted October 30, 2004 Report Posted October 30, 2004 Adrian Peterson almost has as many yards as Jason White
Bored Posted October 30, 2004 Author Report Posted October 30, 2004 Purdue's season has fallen apart as they lose their third straight, this time to Northwestern 13-10. Kyle Orton was apparantly benched late in the game. Nebraska now emerges as the favorite in the pathetic Big XII North as they are up 24-3 late against Missouri.
2GOLD Posted October 30, 2004 Report Posted October 30, 2004 Oklahoma State is driving. If Oklahoma loses, Dama may snap and become the Jigsaw killer.

therealworldschampion Posted October 30, 2004 Report Posted October 30, 2004 Ooh he missed the FG, and Oklahoma escapes. Something tell's me they're going to get tagged by A&M next week.
Slayer Posted October 30, 2004 Report Posted October 30, 2004 Peterson finishes with 25 more yards than White How 'bout that
2GOLD Posted October 30, 2004 Report Posted October 30, 2004 Peterson finishes with 25 more yards than White How 'bout that Long as he knows he's not going to the NFL next year. He has a serious shot at the Heisman. No one else is standing out of the upper classmen.
Damaramu Posted October 30, 2004 Report Posted October 30, 2004 Wow....just wow. One of the best Bedlam games ever! OSU is a lot better than anyone thought. OU had some major special teams problems but then they cleared that up. I don't think OU has anything to be ashamed of. They played a legit Top 25 maybe Top 15 team and hung in there even when OSU just kept getting up. That's tough when you knock a team down and it's back in your face immediately. But it was just an amazing game. OU proved why they're #2 with a hard win over a very good team on the road in a hostile environment. If they beat A&M next week in an even more hostile environment then they solidfy there place as one of the Top 2 teams in the nation. These in-state rivalries are crazy. First Cal almost knocks off USC and then OSU almost knocks off OU. It's crazy but I'm happy that OU was able to participate in one of the great games and prove themselves. Rather than folding up after 2 huge botched special teams and a never say die attitude from the other team they kept taking it to them. Just a great game.
Damaramu Posted October 30, 2004 Report Posted October 30, 2004 And the OU trend of looking like crap week after week continues. Umm....actually they looked great. Aside from 2 botched special teams plays(albeit huge ones) they looked great. And every other week they prove that they can score when they want to. They dangle the carrot in front of other teams then snatch it away. Plus USC was knocked around by Cal and it came down to the last play in that game. So if you're going to give USC props for beating Cal then OU gets props for beating OSU.
Damaramu Posted October 30, 2004 Report Posted October 30, 2004 Now I'm pumped for the A&M game! We beat them and that gives us 3 Top 25 wins on the season! Just as many as USC and two of ours came on the road and one on a neutral site!
therealworldschampion Posted October 30, 2004 Report Posted October 30, 2004 Well Georgia-Florida seems like its going to be a blowout, Georgia's up 21-7 now.
Damaramu Posted October 30, 2004 Report Posted October 30, 2004 Yeah I guess the players rallying behind Ron Zook didn't happen. Wonder what the Top 5 will look like at the end of the day? The exact same b/c none of them are losing......
CanadianChris Posted October 30, 2004 Report Posted October 30, 2004 Yeah I guess the players rallying behind Ron Zook didn't happen. Or it could be that they're playing an excellent team at a neutral site. Wonder what the Top 5 will look like at the end of the day? The exact same b/c none of them are losing...... FSU is. 6-3 Maryland right now.
therealworldschampion Posted October 30, 2004 Report Posted October 30, 2004 I have a feeling that Georgia may get into the 60s scoring wise against Florida today.
Bored Posted October 30, 2004 Author Report Posted October 30, 2004 I thought he had to go to work.... Damaramu Posted October 30, 2004 Report Posted October 30, 2004 I am at work. I work at Radio Shack so I use the computer and internet. Oh and on top of that it's dead here b/c the entire state of Oklahoma has shut down it seems.
CanadianChris Posted October 30, 2004 Report Posted October 30, 2004 CBS just showed the Big XII standings. My God, the North is horrible. Nebraska will have to win out to avoid having a North champion with at least 3 losses in-conference.
Damaramu Posted October 30, 2004 Report Posted October 30, 2004 The North is making the South look bad. The South has one bad team.....Baylor. And boy is it a bad one. Why the hell is Baylor in the Big XII anyways?

Scratch that...I don't know why Baylor is in the Big XII.
