Albeit not the best actor, but still better than Keanu Reeves, Mark Wahlberg adds something to every role he's in. Plus, he has a streak of being in extremely kick-ass movies. Boogie Nights...The Big Hit...Three Kings...Rock Star...the list continues to grow. I've loved every single movie he's been in, man... Plus, the outtakes at the end of Rock Star are hilarious, as they're supposed to be rehearsing for one of the concerts, and Zakk Wylde is playing a solo, then the PA system begins playing "Good Vibrations" by Marky Mark and The Funky Bunch. Guest El Satanico Report post Posted May 4, 2002 eh...no i can't say that i'm a Marky Mark fan. Sure he's better then Keanu but who isn't(Freddie Prinze Jr is equal to Keanu). Marky Mark doesn't make me hate his movies like Keanu does but i'm not much of a fan. I think the reason i don't like him is that he always seems to play the same role and acts like a "innocent momma's boy thrust into bad situations". He's been in some good movies but i don't care for him. The Big Hit would've been horrible if it wasn't for the performance of Lou Diamond Phillips saving it. Guest El Satanico Report post Posted May 4, 2002 Well Matrix was good in spite of Keanu so i wouldn't consider it a "good Keanu movie". The only movies i've seen of Keanu's that he was decent in were "River's Edge" and "My own private Idaho". Both movies were before he made Bill & Ted so many people probably never heard of them. In fact "River's Edge" was one of it not his first ever movie. He wasn't exactly a great actor in those two movies but he was very passable...i'd take passable for him any day. Mark Walburg is not an action hero as Plant of the Apes, Big Hit, The Corruptor shown he is no better than Keanu.
