Guest Black Tiger Report post Posted November 3, 2004 It looks like their lack of focus is catching up with New Japan, as they're big Chono anniversary show, only put 10,000 in the Sumo Hall. They actually got out drew by All Japan (although to be fair, I'm sure Mr. Misawa had a hand in All Japan selling out). The show looks a little average to me, which is a trend with most NJPW shows lately. They stack them up to look great, but they come off as being just average. The Nagai/Naruse All Asia title switch was a good move, as it hopefully kicks in some more cross promotional work with NJ and AJ. Kawada vs Shibata was probably pretty fun, in the usual manner, when they get to go kick for kick, and Tosh knocks him silly.
Guest jobsquad Report post Posted November 3, 2004 yeah cross promotional stuff between the big boys of each promotion is a good thing as long as the egos remain manageable.
