I arrived at the Xcel Energy Center at around 7:00pm, it was pretty dead (as i guess nobody knew/cared for Keith Emerson) and we got to our seats, we had Club level seats and when we went to the escalators up it was blocked off, there was a table there with two Xcel personnel saying that the Scorps "wanted us closer to the show" so everyone with Club/Upper Level seats were being upgraded to lower level, while that made me happy it also made me sad that they didn't sell enough tickets to the show.

We got to our seats (awesome view!) and we saw that Club/Upper was still blocked off (empty as can be)

at 7:40 Keith Emerson arrived (the arena wasn't even 1/3 full yet) so i felt bad for the guy, he played around 8-9 songs, he was...different, lucky i like keyboards!

His set ended, i got up and went to the bathroom and not even 10minutes later the lights went out while i was going back to my seat and Tesla showed up, they have a huge following and i am a fan of theirs but they had a mixed up set...some songs they didn't play saddened me, but they played everything the people wanted to hear i guess.

Scorpions came on at around 9:40-45 and they always have a cool light grid / stage, they opened up with New Generation/love em or leave em, and was a good show. Now, before i get yelled at i've seen the Scorps 3 times and they have always had a good show, but tonight's was sub-par to last year's at the Target Center, the Unbreakable stuff was way too much (and it's actually a good album!) and not enough of the classics that everyone came to hear, nevertheless it was a good show. I enjoyed it.

Rock on, Scorps.
