The only reason I heard about this is because it was posted on another forum... I checked it and posted about it here. In that time it has changed. Has no-one else seen it? This was what I saw... And the subject bar had changed to "World Wrestling Entertainment: WWE.COM"

Really, World Wrestling Champion and welcome to World Wrestling Heat doesn't sound that bad. I don't think the 'E' will be mentioned all that often, except when refering to the company itself.

Whatever they do to introduce the name change I'm sure that they will make it sound as if it is a good thing and a giant new step for the company. They won't let on that they were forced to do it by a company made up of hippies with a panda bear as their spokesman.

OR hell, if they really want an acronym SO BAD then just use WWFe. "World Wrestling Monday Night Raw?" "World Wrestling Smackdown?" This just sounds ULTRA lame...

I don't want to here them say "WWE." Maybe I'm just being childish, but that's the way I feel. How do you think the majority of the marks will react?

It seems like all they did was use a "Find" feature in their html program to change all the WWF's to WWE's. World Wrestling Entertainment sounds incredibly lame. Do they want to get rid of any resemblance to an actual sports league in the product? Why not World Wrestling League or something? Meh... but I wouldn't be surprised if WWL was taken already. And whatever the hell happened to Titan Sports? Why not call it Titan Wrestling Federation or something. At least that's better than World Wrestling Entertainment. I also realized a while ago that this name change would have been a nice way to end the Invasion angle, with the merger of: WWF, WCW & ECW

What a fitting way to end Vince's "legacy": quietly and in court... art_vandelay's idea would've been cool though, too bad the inVasion didn't actually work so they couldn't have done it. I fucking hate those damn hippies... fucking only want a clean space for themselves to drive their Volvo's and their Saabs. Perhaps like they like to bomb/set fire to labs we should set fire to there headquarters. I think it would be fitting for someone to hack their website and redirect it to the new "wwe.com" .
