in 2002 or 2003 or whatever when kane got unmasked and then in the first few weeks after RAW was getting 3.9-4.1 in the ratings (i cant remember the exact numbers but they were higher than before) and then he was put into the fued with RVD and the ratings went back down. the question i had is why didn't they just turn him face since they were leaning that way and it was working?

Because it was what people wanted to see. God forbid the fans actually choose what they like.

 

I won't even bother making sense of WWE logic, especially in cases like this one.
